Asami looked at the child which was hanging on her leg. She barely reached the heiresses hips. "So whose the kid?"

"You mean you haven't seen her face.." said Jinora.

The emerald eyed girl looked at them with confusion before looking down at the girl. She lifted her up gently, letting the girl hug her neck. After looking at her for a solid minute, she did notice some familiar features.

"She looks like Korra." stated Asami after she got a good look at the child. "Does Korra have a little sister?"

Bolin fidgeted with his fingers. "I don't know how to tell you this.."

"Just spit it out already." Asami harshly said, which shocked the child in her arms. The young one hugged Asami tightly. The raven haired noticed and immediately felt guilty. She rubbed the young ones back softly, which calmed her down a bit.

Jinora, Ikki and Bolin admired the view. Asami was being all soft with a kid whom she knew deeply. But the girl herself didn't know that.

"Well it seems she likes you." chuckled Jinora. "She was acting different to us, compared to you."

Asami smirked. "Maybe because I'm so loveable. But honestly guys, who is the kid?"

"PleasedontgetmadatusAsamibutthatchildrightthereisKorra." Bolin swiftly said.

"The only thing that I got out of all of that was my name and Korra's name. Can you just please tell
me who the child is?" asked Asami who was starting to get irritated.

"Korra." finally blurted out Ikki.

"Korra?!" Asami was surprised. Though the moment she said that, the child lifted her head and looked at her. And she looked back at the child.

"You too loud." the toddler said before her head found its place once again in Asami's neck.

Asami rubbed the baby's back with her thumb. "I'm sorry honey."

Ikki couldn't contain a squeal and accidentally let it out which resulted in Jinora smacking her sister. "Stop making so much noise and let them have their moment."

Asami overheard the two arguing and looked at them. "Do you mind telling me what happened in the spirit world?"

FLASHBACK

Jinora, Bolin and Korra were wondering around the Spirit World after they finished their first task. They realised that the reason why civilians were hearing noises coming from the portal was because of the fact that someone was harming the spirits internally. And when they found out that it was another business man, they didn't hesisitate to attack.

It took a while to convince they guy not to damage the spirit world, and in the end he finally agreed. After he recalled that the Avatar 'saved his family' once. Even after he left, there was still a lot of damage done. So the three tried to fix everything that they could.

They went their separate ways, with Korra stumbling across a foggy place. Jinora and Bolin didn't know what had happened to her, all they found was a baby crying. They quickly recognised the kid to be Korra after she was wearing Korra's clothes and did look like Korra. The clothes were however, to big for her. So Jinora made some adjustments for the meantime.

There wasn't much they could do without the help of Korra. So the best choice was for them to wrap up everything early and head back home.

[...]

Asami was still processing what she was told. "Your telling me you guys decided to split up and when you regroup, you find Korra like this."

Jinora nodded. "You can't blame us. She's an adult, she knows what she is doing."

"She's actually a baby right now. And I'm not blaming you, I'm just shocked." said Asami.

Korra was still holding onto Asami. The little girl knew basic English, so she understood some of what Jinora had said. "Am I the Avatar?"

Asami smiled at her softly. "Yes you are."

The toddler asked another question which was completely out of the blue. "Are you my mummy?"

The heiress chocked on air. That term was used between her and Korra during their private moments, and now it looked so strange coming from a toddler And not any toddler, but Korra. "No... I'm not your mummy."

"But I want you to be my mummy." she whined.

Asami didn't know how to respond to this. She and Korra never really discussed having kids, since they were so busy with their daily life. "Sweetie, I can't be your mother. You already have one."

Korra cuddled into Asami's arms. "But I like you..."

"Don't worry though, your the most important person to me." Asami honestly said.

Korra must've been satisified with that answer because she quickly nuzzled her head under Asami's chin. Asami found it unusually cute, how the kid was behaving. She set herself a mental reminder to discuss the topic of having kids once Korra returned back to normal.

"Well.." Bolin broke the silence. "She seems to like you a lot. I wonder why."

"I wonder why too." Asami sarcastically repeated. "Maybe it's because she's my wife."

Jinora, Ikki and Bolin had to chuckle for a quick moment. It sound a little funny how Asami was calling a toddler her wife. And when Asami understood why they were laughing, she started to go bright red. Although it made her feel sad and weird, she knew she couldn't go around calling the child her wife.

"Enough teasing, I think it's time for dinner." lied Asami. She just made an excuse, since she wanted to get out of that atmosphere ASAP.

She left the room, with Korra still in her arms. The little girl wasn't moving for a while which made Asami comprehend that she was asleep. The first thing she did was lay the child on the sofa, with her head resting on the heiresses lap. The raven haired couldn't find any blankets, so she took of her signature jacket and put it on top of the young one. She was so tiny that it pretty much covered her entire body.

They stayed like that for God knows how long. Asami continued to read the book that she brought over, learning some new stuff about the Avatar. After a while, Pema called her over and told her that dinner was ready.

She softly nudged Korra's shoulders, trying to wake her up. "Korra honey, wake up. It's time for dinner." she repeated a couple of times.

Blue eyes flickered open and was met by green. "You have pretty eyes." the toddler said as soon as she woke up.

"Thank you. It's dinner right now, so we have to go. Would you like me to carry you or can you manage?" asked Asami.

Korra wrapped her small hands around one of Asami's fingers. "I want to hold you hand."

Asami gave her a soft smile. "Sure."
