The mansion was quiet as usual. Asami was a humble person and she always insisted that the housemaids should leave early. Well that and she didn't want anyone to disturb her and Korra's times.
"Wow.." the toddler said with awe. "Your house is so big."
"Our house." Asami corrected the young one. "You live here too."
Korra looked at her with a grin on her face. "I live with pretty girl?"
"Yes, and I live with a cutie." Asami couldn't stop herself from pinching the young ones cheeks.
First thing Asami did was find some clothes. She left Korra to play with Naga. Luckily, there was a couple of baby clothes which Bolin and Mako's family left after moving out.
Once she got back to the child, she quickly changed her clothes as it was getting pretty late. Asami the left her again with Naga since she needed to change her clothes too and take off her make up.
Was it wise to sleep with the child on the same bed or to leave the child in the guest room? Asami was new to this and didn't know what to do until she felt a little tug on her nightwear.
"Can I sleep with you?"
The toddler had the most cutest look on her face according to Asami. A look that she couldn't say no to. She scooped up the child once more and brought her to the room which was once theirs.
Covering her with a blanket she whispered, "Goodnight Korra."
The child pushed herself onto Asami, her little head was resting on the young woman. "Goodnight Asami."

It was the first morning for Asami with a baby Korra. The child wasn't actually a big problem. She didn't cause any problems and clung onto Asami most of the time. And when she was told to eat, she did eat.
"I have to go to work now.." Asami admitted sadly.
Korra couldn't help but tear up. "Will you b-be leaving me?"
Asami felt as if she was guilty of something. "No honey. After work I'll be back and we can play for a long time."
"You promise?" Korra was wiping her tears with her tiny hands.
"I promise."

Asami was sitting in her office. She was in the middle of looking at a couple of blueprints, but her mind was somewhere else. It had only been a couple of hours since she dropped off Korra at the temple, but she couldn't stop thinking about her.
"Arghh." she crossed out the mistake she unintentionally made.
Her assistant looked at her with a perplexed look. "Are you okay Ms?" she asked.
"I'm fine, don't worry about me."
Asami and her assistant, Rei, had a close bond. The other woman could tell whenever Asami wasn't feeling well or when she was lying about something. And right now was one of those moments.
"Your lying to me. What's the issue?" asked Rei.
Asami slouched on her chair. "Your going to think this is weird if I tell you but Korra turned into a baby and I can't stop worrying about her."
"Why would I think it's weird? Your married to the Avatar, all sorts of things would happen." her assistant walked up to her with coffee in her hands. "Drink this. And for your information, I think your forgetting that your the boss. You can literally walk out here anytime you want."
It was true that Asami forgot that. Only because she wasn't the type of CEO who would behave irresponsibly. "Now that you say that.."
"How long is Korra going to be a little child?"
That was a great question, but Asami didn't have answer for it. "Tenzin and Jinora are looking for ways to turn her back to normal."
"Well, I've got great news for you Asami." her assistant said whilst reading the woman's schedule. "You have a meeting in 10 minutes and then after that, your free."
"Meetings are so long." groaned Asami.
"Actually it's a short meeting with a business man from the Fire Nation." stated her Assistant.
Asami lifted herself up. "Well then.. I better get myself ready."
It was true that the meeting was short, but Asami felt some off vibes from the guy. First of all, he was trying to get close to her even though she mentioned her being married a couple of times. But clearly he didn't get the message as he continued to pester her.
He had some guts asking to go out with her for a day. She remembered the look on his face when she threatened to end their partnership if he continued to annoy her. That made him learn his lesson of not messing with Asami ever again.

Once Asami reached the temple, she saw Korra running away from Meelo and Rohan. She was crying whilst running whereas the boys were laughing mischievously.
The first thing she did was walk up to them and lift up Korra. Asami didn't know what possessed her to do it. Was it possessiveness or motherly instincts?
"Hey!" hissed Meelo. "No fair! We were just toughening up the kid. Like a real man does."
Asami could only shake her head at his reasoning. "She isn't a boy Meelo and I think it's time for Korra and I to go home."
Korra cuddled in Asami's arms. "Yay, I missed you so much."
"I missed you too." said Asami tenderly.
Asami went inside the temple to tell everyone that she would be leaving with Korra. She checked up on Jinora to see if they have any progress. Sadly, the young air bender told her that she didn't.
"You know, I thought Korra was missing this morning until you came and dropped her off." chuckled Pema.
Asami scratched the side of her face. "I'm sorry I forgot to tell you that I would be taking her."
"It's okay. Your her wife after all. Even though that sounds a little weird."
Asami was glad that she wasn't the only one who thought that.
After their quick goodbyes, the two left. Similar to yesterday, Korra was well behaved. Well that and she didn't say much beside clinging onto Asami.
Once their reached their home and settled down, Korra talked to Asami about her day for a while. And than she played with Naga whilst Asami prepared dinner for the two.
"This food is so good. You are the best cook ever!" said Korra who was sitting on Asami's lap.
Between the two, Korra was the better chef. And because of that, she made most of the meals. So hearing from someone else (well a toddler version of Korra) that she was a good chef warmed her heart.
"Should I cook for you everyday then?"
Korra rapidly shook her head up and down. "Yes please."
"What a cutie." mumbled Asami.
