Just like that, Saturday was over and now it was Sunday. The heiress was cooking lunch when she heard out a loud cry. Instantly, she ran to the place where she heard it.

"Asami!" the toddler cried out. "I t-think my hand is on fire."

Asami looked at the flame which was coming from the child's hand. She must've unintentionally fire bent she thought.

"Honey, remember when you asked me if you were the Avatar and I responded with yes?"

The teary eyed toddler nodded.

Asami started walking closer to the girl, as she wanted to embrace the young one. Something she had gotten use to for the past couple days. "Well the Avatar is someone who can bend all four elements. So what you are doing right now is bending fire."

Korra stumbled back. "I'm scared I will hurt you."

Asami's heart shattered. "Sweetie, you won't hurt me. I promise. Now come here." she spread her arms open for the young one to jump in.

After the toddler calmed down, the flame went away. Asami thanked herself for buying all those Avatar books as it came to great use today.

Asami decided that it would be best to call over Mako, and ask him about fire bending. They had a short conversation on the phone and Mako agreed to come over and visit after his shift.

And in the meantime, Asami would give all her attention to Korra. She decided to braid her hair, something the adult Korra would never let her do. She would always complain saying she likes her hair down or it would hurt her one braincell.

After she finished braiding her hair, Korra stood up and looked at herself in the mirror. "You made me look pretty! Thank you!" the toddler exclaimed as she gave Asami a hug.

Maybe she could get use to baby Korra. It was not as bad as she thought it would be. But she couldn't deny that she missed her lover.

The front door bell rang and Asami knew that it was Mako. The girl barely got uninvited guests visiting her home.

"Hey Asami." he gave her a short friendly hug.

Asami returned the hug. "Hey Mako, good to see you."

"So where's Korra-"

He didn't need to continue his sentence as the child came running into the room. Once the young one noticed Mako, she hid behind Asami's legs.

"Shark." she muttered quietly.

Asami asked her to repeat since she didn't get what the child was trying to say.

"Shark." she repeated once more.

Asami tried her best to contain her laugh whereas Mako could only sigh. The young one was referring to his messy eyebrows. Wu and Asami always offered to help him get it done but for some reason he always denied.

Once he settled in, Mako discussed the basics of fire bending to Korra. She nodded a couple of times, acting like she understood when really, it went in from one ear and out from the other.

"Okay." the toddler finally spoke. Mako got the feeling that she didn't want to hear anymore talk.

He stood up and headed for the door. "Well I guess that's all for today." but as he was walking, his stomach rumbled loud enough for everyone.

Asami smirked. "You hungry?"

Mako scratched his nape. "Not that much." his stomach though, didn't lie and started to rumble once more.

"Let me get Korra dressed, and then we can go out to eat." said Asami as she scooped up Korra and headed for upstairs.

[...]

The three headed for Narook's Seaweed Noodlery. Asami chose it since she wanted Korra to eat some water tribe food, whereas Mako didn't care what he was going to eat.

"Ah.. would you like a couples table Ms Sato?" the waiter said, who didn't realise Korra was also there.

"No thank you." she glared at the worker. "I would like a table for 3, as there is three of us."

The worker looked down to Korra who was holding Asami's ring finger. He then looked at the ring and then looked at Mako's hand which didn't have a ring. Embarrassment was written all over his face. "My bad for assuming. Please follow me."

The three sat down though Korra as usual, sat on Asami's lap. The older didn't mind it but if it was going to be like this then they should have gotten a table for 2.

"So.." Asami broke the awkward silence. "How are you and Wu doing?"

"Me and Wu? We are doing great.. well I'm doing great I don't know about him. Y-yeah I'm doing good." he was rambling as if he was guilty of something.

Asami giggled. "Why do you sound like your guilty of something?"

"I'm not guilty of anything! I'm doing fine and so is Wu, can we move onto the next subject?" he groaned.

Korra must've reacted to change in voice because she hugged Asami tighter then usual. "He scary." she mumbled.

Asami used one of her hands to hug Korra. "Mhm. It's okay he's a nice person, trust me."

"I'm sorry for raising my voice, I won't do it again." said Mako in a baby voice.

Asami's eyes popped wide open. She had never seen him do this. And quite frankly she felt second hand embarrassment. Korra on the other hand, just looked at him before turning back and hugging Asami.

"Remind me never to do that again." sighed Mako. "I don't know what possessed me."

"Yeah please don't. Maybe it's because of all the time your spending with Wu.." chuckled Asami.

"Wu doesn't have anything to do with this." he hissed so defensively.

Asami raised a hand in the hair. "Hey, whatever you say."

[...]

Dinner went pretty smoothly. Korra opened up a little to Mako which was an improvement since she barely liked anyone at the temple.

Asami got the hint that there was something going on between Mako and Wu but he wasn't telling her. And she accepted that since she respects her friends and their private lives.

The raven haired was lying down on the sofa whilst Korra was playing with Naga. Even if she turned into a toddler, the Avatar still loved and cherished Naga. A life long friendship between an animal and a human.

Though a certain toddler had a mischievous plan. She wanted to play with Asami but the girl was just lying down, doing nothing. So without hesitation, she started running towards the sofa.

She used Naga to help her jump. When she was high enough in the air, she positioned herself to land on Asami's stomach. The plan was successful.

Asami felt her life being pushed out her mouth. Her stomach hurt badly. The pain she felt was indescribable. "Why would you do that? Did you think about how I would feel after? Did you even think at all?" she raised her voice at the young one.

Whilst she continued to shout, she didn't realise that the child was crying badly. "I'm sorry Asami." she sniffled. "Don't be angry.. I'm really sorry"
