Blue and Grey II

I glanced at my wristwatch, waiting for our last subject to be over. I am going to fetch Blythe to her school. It looks like I'm going to be late because of the activities that I still have to accomplish.

I finished it as fast as I could. I reached for my pocket to get my phone and tried to call her. She's not picking up my call and it scares me to death. My heart suddenly started beating really fast for unknown reason.

"Why are you still here? I thought you are going to fetch your girlfriend?", my close friend asked.

I didn't even manage to answer his question. I hurried to the parking lot and got to my car immediately. I only managed to calm down when I finally arrived at her school. She's sitting on the bench, waiting patiently.

I get off the car and the moment our eyes met, she stood up and hugged me so tight.

"I thought you're going to ditch me", she said as she place her head on my chest. I felt a damp on it.

I gently rubbed her back and kissed her head. "I'm sorry, my Blythe. My last subject had an overtime. I contacting you through your phone but you're not picking it up. I got worried".

She wiped her tears and looked up at me. "My phone is dead, I'm sorry for making you worry", she pouted and hugged me again.

I cupped her cheeks and kissed her forehead. "I'm sorry too, baby".

We had our dinner together. We talked about our plans after college and ofcourse, our future together.
