"Oh, you're already here Mr. Stanford", Charles said.

Her fiancé.

"Yeah, I'm with my daughter", I tried to smile but I couldn't.

I handed him the blueprint.

"Thanks, man", he smiled as he held Blythe's waist.

"I'll leave now", I said.

"Wait, Grey", Blythe said and placed a card on my hand.

It's a wedding invitation. They're getting married. I shouldn't feel like this, but I can't help myself.

I am the one who cheated on her. She just used cheating as an excuse. She have no idea if her operation is going to be successful that's why she said those words to me. She wanted me to hate her so I can easily forget her.

The night I went to the bar, I got someone pregnant. I married the mother of my child because I don't want her to experience having a broken family like I have experienced before. But things didn't worked out well.

I went to Blythe's home after a month but she's not there anymore. She didn't even wait for the graduation day. She flew to USA for her operation. I'm already married when I found out the truth from her speech on my brother's graduation in highschool where she was invited as a guest speaker.

I'm so proud of her. After experiencing those things, she managed to stand up and survived. Even though she have to stop for a while, she still managed to reach her dreams and had her own school.

I smiled bitterly.

It seems that the universe doesn't want us to be together. That even though we used to find comfort and hope to each other through the gloom, blue will always belong to the sky and grey will always be on the bottom. Looking up to the beautiful sky. It feels like it's so near yet so far.

With a heavy heart, I drove and left the school.
