The internet ruined me (dream x reader)

Chapter 5

As I walked through the airport I quickly found luggage claim...I stood there waiting, nerves flooding me. I felt the butterflies in my stomach and the knots twist and turn.

I was soon faced with a tall figure walking towards me, it wasn't until he stood in front of me that I saw how gorgeous he was. His dirty golden locks fell perfectly against his face, fitting around it like a puzzle. His eyes shone like emeralds, I felt like I could get lost in them, engulfed in their beauty. The last thing I noticed was his perfectly scattered freckles spread across his face. He was perfect, god-like even.

Before I could keep analyzing him, he engulfed me in a hug. His arms wrapping around my entire body. I felt the warmth radiate off of him as he inches his arms around my waist, tightening his grip.

I was finally brought back into reality by the beeping of the airport loudspeaker, the noise continuously getting louder and louder, it's beeping consistent.

I jolted awake only to be faced with the bright sun and the loud beeping of my phone alarm. I quickly grabbed it to turn off the outrageous noises that woke me from my dream.

I then realized it was just a dream. I felt my heart sink, why did I feel this way? It was just a dream but it felt so many emotions flooding through me. I thought back and tried to remember every detail of him only to feel emptier than I originally had, unable to bring the image back again.

I sat up and decided to get ready for my day, the day just as ordinary and boring as any other day.

I figured I'd stream later today and just lounge around.

As I lay back down in bed I grabbed my phone and opened Twitter. As soon as I opened it I instantly regretted waking up this morning...

Shit, I said this when I was much smaller with a couple of hundred viewers a stream. I never imagined to blow up and reach that goal. I had been wanting to dye my hair for a while but nothing too crazy so I was getting nervous...

As I went to check my twitch subs I realized I had just reached it and just barely went over.

Big d real quiet right now

I decided that since I was already gonna stream I could do a poll to choose between the two top colors, red and green. God, I hope it's not green...

I started my stream and welcomed everyone in as they came.

"Hey guys, how we doing today"

I skimmed over the chat to see a mixture of "good" and everyone spamming different colors.

"Ahhh I'm getting nervous guys." you could hear the shakiness in my voice "So, the top two are red and green so I figured we'd do a poll once everyone gets here"

I had been stalling for a couple of minutes, answering questions and having small talk. 20,00 people had joined my stream so I figured it was time to put the poll up.

"Alright polls up go vote"

Before I could comprehend what was happening I saw dream spamming "GREEN" in the chat.

Shit green was the majority vote.

I decided against dying my hair myself due to the fear of messing up and my hair falling out so I booked an appointment on stream and played bedwars for the rest of it.

I finished my stream around 11 and decided to let dream know what a bitch he was

I decided to leave him on read and go take a shower.

As I washed my hair I couldn't help but feel excited to possibly see what Dream looked like, if he looked anything like he did in my dream I was for sure done for.

God, I'm just so excited...
