I love this one...
I don't have much to say about it other than I really, really, really like them together. Ships between murderers are the best ships, no one can tell me otherwise 😌.
I feel like they'd never really say anything about their feelings out loud. They would kind of just assume that they're dating at a certain point of knowing each other. I also think Hisoka would show more physical affection and Illumi would let him, because just letting him is enough for Hisoka know he returns those feelings. No one can talk to Illumi, or ask Illumi questions, the way Hisoka does. They'd be attacked and/or killed :)
I have a headcanon that Hisoka braided Illumi's hair once when Illumi was feeling more comfortable around him than usual. Illumi kept it in for a whole week because he knew he wouldn't allow himself get that close to Hisoka for him to do it again any time soon.
