Third Person's POV

Young Stark woke up from her slumber, and the lights turned on and she saw a figure, didn't think nothing of it. She started walking and stumbled a bit, she is just waking up. To keep herself from falling on her face she just sat back down on the couch.

The figure came closer and she squinted her eyes and she saw ruffled hair and a cast. She got up and got up to walk towards the figure once she realized who it was Tony got down on his knee and Macy ran into his arms.

"Hey baby, miss me." Tony said, then Macy got out of the hug and looked at her father, with worried, scared, eyes looking at him. "I know I said that I'd be back after two days, but that obviously didn't happen." Tony reassured Macy and planted a small kiss on her forehead.

"At least you're okay, that's all that matters." Macy told her father and he sighed in relief.

"Hey I need your help with something kiddo." Tony said walking to a chair and leaning back in it.

"Yeah whats up?" The Young girl asked.

"How big are your hands?" Tony asked the young girl and she looked at her father.

"What?" She said.

"How big are your hands?" Tony repeated to the younger Stark.

"I don't understand why..." Macy said walking closer to her father.

"I need you." Tony said lying shirtless in a chair. "Hey lets see them. Show me your hands. Let's see them." Macy holds up her hands as she got closer. "Oh, wow. They are small. Very petite, indeed. I just uh.. need your help for a sec." Tony said.

"Oh  my God, is that the the thing that's keeping you alive?" Macy asked frantically.

"It was. It is now an antique. That is what will be keeping me alive for the foreseeable future. I'm swapping it up for an upgraded unit, and I just ran into a little speed bump.

"Speed bump, what does that mean?"

"Its nothing. It's just a little snag. There's an exposed wire under this device. And its contacting the socket wall and causing a little bit of a short. Its fine." Tony said pulling out the old device and handing it to Macy.

"What do you want me to do?" Macy asked her father with confusion.

"Put that on the table over there. That is irrelevant." Tony told her, and she slowly nodded her head. "I want you to reach in, and you're going to gently lift the wire out."

"Is it safe?" Macy asked, nervously.

"Yeah it should be fine, it's like the game operation. You just don't let it touch the socket wall or it goes "beep." Tony told her and she gave him a look, and he gently put his hand on her cheek, and gave her a weak smile. Macy didn't want to hurt her father and she felt like she was doing that, and she felt that all she was doing was messing this up.

"Okay." She said. "You know, I don't think that I'm qualified to do this."

"No you're fine. You're the most capable, qualified, trustworthy person I've ever met. You're gonna do great. Is it too much of a problem to ask? Cause I'm-" Tony rambled before he got interrupted by his daughter.

"Okay, okay." Macy said.

"I really need your help here." Tony said to his nervous daughter.

"Okay." Macy said sliding her hand into the hole in Tony's chest. "Oh there's puss!"

"Its not puss. Its an inorganic plasmic discharge from the device not from my body." Tony explained to Macy and she nodded her head as a response.

"It smells!" Macy said scrunching her nose in disgust.

"Yes it does.  The copper wire. The copper wire, you got it?" Tony said and then the door openes and Macy turned over her shoulder and saw Pepper in her PJ's.

"Okay, I got it! I got it!" Macy said stressing out from the situation.

"Okay, you got it? Now don't let it touch." Macy lets it touch the side. "The sides when you're coming out!" Tony finished.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry." Macy said and she had tears welding up in her eyes but she was fighting them from streaming down her face.

"That's what I was trying to tell you before. Okay, now make sure that when you pull it out, that you don't..." Macy pulls out the wire with the magnet attached and the medical equipment starts beeping. "There's a magnet at the end of it! That was it. You just pulled it out." Tony said.

"Oh God!" Macy said to her father

"Okay I was not expecting-" Tony said.

"Okay what do I do?" Macy said interrupting her father mid sentence.

"Don't put it back in! Don't put it back in!" Tony said to his daughter.

"What's wrong?" Macy asked her Dad while she was freaking out.

"Nothing. I'm just going into cardiac arrest--" Tony said and Macy's eyes widened.

"What? You said it was safe!" Macy exclaimed to her father.

"'Cause you yanked it out like a trout... we gotta hurry. Take this. Take this. You gotta switch it out really quick.

"Okay. Okay, Daddy?" Macy said.

"What?" Tony said.

"It's going to be okay. Okay?" Macy reassures Tony.

"Is it?" Tony said and Macy playfully punched his shoulder.

"Its going to be okay. I'm gonna make this okay." Macy said.

"Let's hope. Okay, you're gonna attach that to the base playe. Make s-sure you..." Tony screams when it attaches. "Was that so hard? That was fun, right? Here I got it. I got it. Here. Nice." Tony said.

"Are you okay?" Macy said and Tony let out a little laugh.

"Yeah. I feel great. You okay?" Tony said and Macy glared heavily at her father.

"Don't ever, ever, ever, ever, ask her to do anything like that ever again, she's just a child." Pepper said frantically to her fiance.

"I don't have anyone but you two. Anyway..." Tony said ripping the wire off and stands up.

"What do you want me to do with this?" Macy said holding her father's old reactor in her hands.

"That? Destroy it. Incinerate it." Tony told her and she gave a little frown at her father.

"You don't want to keep it?" Macy asked her father.

"Macy I've been called many things. "Nostalgic" is not one of them." Tony told her.

I wanted this to be a short chapter. So instead of Pepper helping Tony replacing the older arc reactor it was Macy. See you guys in the next chapter.
