Third Persons POV
After the whole Macy thing, Tony went down to his lab and try and take off the suit.
"Hey!" Tony exclaimed as his robots are trying to take off the suit.
"It is a tight fit sir. Sir, the more you struggle, the more this is going to hurt." JARVIS told the older Stark as Tony was struggling to get out.
"Be gentle. This is my first time. I designed this to come off, so... Hey. I really should be able to..." Tony said as Pepper walked in on the situation.
"Please try not to move sir." JARVIS told Tony as he continued moving.
"What's going on here?" Pepper exclaimed as she walked in on it.
"Let's face it. This isn't the worst thing you caught me doing." Tony said laughing a little.
"Are those bullet holes?" Pepper asked as she saw holes in the suit.
"Yes and no." Tony told Pepper.
20 minutes later.
"Hey? You busy? You mind if I send you in an errand? I need you to go to my office. You're going to hack into the mainframe and you're going to retrieve all the recent shipping manifests. This is a lock chip. This'll get you in. It's probably under Executive Files. If not, they put it on a Ghost drive, in which case you need to look for the lowest numeric heading." Tony told Pepper and she looked at him eye wide. She doesn't know how to hack into a computer. She isn't technical like Tony and Macy, by no means.
"And what do you plan to do with this information if I bring it back here?" Pepper said as she walked closer to the table where the chip is.
"Same drill. They've been dealing under the table, and I'm going to stop them. I'm going to find my weapons and destroy them." Tony told as he walked around the room.
"Tony, you know that I would help you with anything, but I cannot help you if you are going to start all of this again." Pepper told her fiancée.
"There is nothing except this. There's no art opening. There is no benefit. There is nothing waiting to sign. This is the next mission and noting else." Tony told Pepper and she looked at him
"Is that so? Well then I quit." Pepper told Tony and she started walking towards the door.
"You stood by my side all these years while I reaped the benefits of destruction. And now that I, trying to protect the people that I put in harm's way, you're going to walk out." Tony said as he raised his voice a little at the woman in front of him.
"You're going to kill your self, Tony. I'm not going to be a part of it." Pepper told Tony.
"I shouldn't be alive, unless it was for a reason. I'm not crazy Pepper. I just finally know what I have to do. And I know in my heart that it's right." Tony told the woman who walked towards the table and taking the file and walking out of the house and into Stark Industries and into Tony's office.
Pepper's POV
"What are you up to, Obadiah?" I asked as I put in the chip into the computer.
"You did not tell us that the target you paid us to kill was the great Tony Stark. As you can der Obadiah Stane." The voice over said in thr video and my jaw dropped.
"Oh my god." I said as I continue watching the video.
"...your deception and lies will cost you dearly. The price to kill Tony Stark has just gone up." The voice over contined to say. I didn't notice that Obadiah came into the room and I covered up the hard drive, with a newspaper.
"So, what are ee going to do about this? I know what you're going through Pepper. Tony. He always gets the good stuff, doesn't he? I was so happy when he came home. It was like we got him back from the dead. Now I realize, well, Tony never really did come home did he? He left a part of himself in that cave. Breake my heart." Obadiah said as I swiftly took the hard drive out of the computer.
"Well he's a complicated person." I said stating a fact. Because I'm not wrong.
"He's been through a lot. I think he'll be alright. Youbare a very rare woman. Tony doesn't know how lucky he is. Because he didn't know he had that child, until he almost died." Obadiah said and I squinted my eyes at him.
"Thank you. Thanks. I'd better get back there." I said as I walked towards the door.
"Is that today's paper." Obadiah asked as he saw the news paper by the computer.
"Yes." I answered and smirked a little.
"Do you mind." He asked grabbing the newspaper and flipping it to where the puzzle is which is on the back.
"Not at all." I said and he showed me the puzzle.
"Puzzle." He said smirking a little.
"Of course." I said then I walked out the room and speed walked downstairs to the front door, where I saw Agent Coulson.
"I'm going to give you the meeting of your life. Your office." I said to Coulson.
