johnny can't even remember the last time he saw the boys bright, genuine smile. he doesn't even remember what it looked like. nor could he recollect the sound of his laugh, which he used to love hearing. it was hard to understand the boy and how he was so different. if you think about it, he never really got out of his quiet phase.and the main problem is that the boy never talks about himself. johnny usually just shrugs it off but now he's starting to think.
why did he change? he should be happy he's alive.
is it his looks?
that wouldn't make sense.
he looks like a porcelain doll.johnny's sipped his coffee, burning his taste buds off.
he's so dramatic.
johnny's thoughts about the boy were never positive. and to this day he hasn't noticed it. but at least he knew how to truly explain why donghyuck was perfect.
the first thing that proves it would be his delicate skin. there are no scars or bruises anywhere on the boys body. some would call it fake but it's all natural.
john used to joke and say it was the sun that healed him by giving him a magical tan. but donghyuck found out that it was a lie in 3rd grade. he used to brag about it but it didn't go so good because kids started calling him a human freckle.
but now he's aware that it doesn't make sense and now it certainly made his trust for the older decrease. donghyuck naturally has a beautiful honey color but sadly he was raised to hate it all because of johnny.
kids at school ruined him. it especially didn't go good when he stopped growing in 6th grade. high school showed up and he was still 5'4. so he decided to do homeschool his sophomore year because of the kids teasing him everyday.
and that's when the sadness started. it never left the aura surrounding him. so now he has to live with it.
but that night, donghyuck did what he always does when he's sad.
bad thing is: it's difficult to not get carried away...
he wasn't aware that listening to ALL of fleetwood mac's songs would be time consuming. an hour after another led to 12:00 a.m. and it was then when he realized he didn't do any school work.
so he did all his school work. by the end of his last class it was 3:00 a.m. donghyuck fell on top of his bed and let out a relieving sigh. it didn't occur that another day would start tomorrow. all the thinking and working made his mind stop. so he fell asleep, allowing the exhaustion to get the best of him.
-
an alarm didn't wake him up the next morning. it was a sudden phone call.
donghyuck jumped up from his sheets and looked at the cell on his wall. he felt his hands get clammy from the thought of actually sleeping in.
no way...
he stumbled a little as he got out of the bed, taking a blanket or two with him. thankfully, he managed to make it to the phone before it stopped ringing.
"hello?"
"lee."
he widened his eyes.
it's his manager!
"manager morris! oh..."
he finally turned around to look at his alarm clock.
9:00
"you are late. why?"
donghyuck started feeling a small layer of sweat forming on his forehead. his heartbeat was quickening from within as he thought of his past mistakes. "i stayed up last night doing school work and i shouldn't of... i'm sorry i'm sure this is really annoying... do you want me to-"
