¤Chapter 34¤

3rd pov

They arrived at the hospital early this morning. Although Jihyo was there by her side, Y/n didn't close an eye and had maybe a total of 2 hours sleep. She had called Yves and told her to come to Sunmi's cafe.

There she said goodbye because maybe this was the last time they would see eachother again. Yves didn't want to except the goodbye and said that she was coming by tomorrow after she had a good rest from the surgery. Ha Yi already told the cafe owner so she knew what was going on. Y/n just wanted to see her again and wanted Sunmi to tell her it was going to be ok.

That was an hour ago. They where now in a hospital room, as white as they come, with nurses coming in and out of the room constantly. Y/n has one of those typical hospital gowns, with were annoying the shit out of her, because she wasn't used to wearing anything without a pear of pants, and now she rememberd why.

"How long do we have to wait exactly?" Her mom said while pacing back and forth like a polarbear. "Eomma, sit down, the docter said he will be here for questions in a few minutes." Y/n said.

"I'll go get you some tea in the hospital cafe" Jihyo said and pecked Y/n's lip before walking out. Jihyo was the one who could hide her fear and nerves the best, but as soon as she was alone, she wanted to break down and scream at the world. She walked past a restroom and she couldn't hold it in anylonger so she ran in and tears started to flow out.

After she calmed down enough, she made her way to get some tea. Back at Y/n's room the docter finaly arrived. "I understood that you had some questions for me?" He said and looked at mrs. Lee. "How long before she has to go for surgery exactly?" She asked.

"Well, I don't know the exact time, because we don't know when the heart transplant will arrive. I do know that it will be somewhere between 3 and 4. Because we don't know the exact time, we need to prepare you for surgery early. When the heart get's here, things will move quikly and you'll be in the OR within 5 minutes."

They thanked him for the explanation and he walked out to help another patient. Y/n had a facetime call from Ha Yi because she was on the most important business meeting yet, and Y/n forbit her to cancel it, so she promised to get there as soon as she could. When Jihyo got back to the room, mrs. Lee explained what the docter had told them. Y/n had drifted of to sleep because she was so tired.

A few hours later they heard loud noises coming from the hallway. "Coming trough, We're on an important mission!" They heard someone shout. Few secondes later the door slammed open scaring everyone and waking the sleeping girl up.

"Did she wake you up?" Nayeon said and pointed to Dahyun. Y/n just looked at them feeling too tired to even answer. "I told you to not scream in a hospital you little-!" She said towards Dahyun and the rest just laughed that Dahyun was being scolded.

It was getting close to 3 when Y/n knew that she needed to say goodbye to them all. "Can I speak to the girls alone for a minute?" She asked looking at her mom and Jihyo and they knew what she wanted to do and walked out.

"Y/n I swear, if your going to say goodbye-" "I'll keep it short. I just wanted to thank you guys, for always helping me and being my best friends. Thank you for being the best family I could ever wish for." She said and a tear slided down her face. "Don't worry Y/nn, you'll get out of this just fine, and we'll be here." Sana said and gave a kiss on the youngers cheek. Soon all the girls gave a kiss on her cheek and walked out so she could talk to her mom next.

Her mom got in and was looking disstressed. She had tears in her eyes but kept on staying strong for her daughter. "I won't go anywhere mom"  that was all she needed to say and she just hugged her mom for a few minutes before she got up. "I'm sure that Jihyo would like some alone time." Her mom said and let Jihyo in.

Y/n scooted over making place for Jihyo besides her on the bed. "I love you, always remember that" Y/n said kissing her lovers head. "You won't leave me right?" Jihyo asked with tears. "I could never". They lied there hugging for minutes before everything went really fast all of a sudden.

Nurses where running into the room making Jihyo jump out of the bed. "Wait, what's happening?!" Y/n said really nervous. "The heart has arrived, we need to get you to the OR." A nurse said and Y/n panicked. She was being rolled off and the figuers of her family and friends where getting smaller and smaller. The last thing she thought about before going under, Jihyo's eyes and smile.

Everyone was asleep on the coushes and chairs except for Jihyo. Ha Yi arrived 2 hours ago and the girls had to go home because it was now close to midnight. The surgery was complicated so it would take hours.

The docter came into the room and Jihyo stood up immidiatly, wanting to hear some good news. Ha Yi and mrs. Lee also woke up. "I'm very glad to tell you that the surgery went well. Now it's up to her body, and see if it doesn't reject the new heart, so the first 24 hours ars critical. In about 30 minutes she'll be back in the room and you can see her." They thanked him and he walked out.

After the 30 minutes they could see her. It was a big shock to see her so vulnerable. She had all these cables and tubes attached to her. Mrs. Lee and Ha Yi went to buy some food while Jihyo waited by her side.

She grabed her lovers lifeless hand. "Let me sing you a song, I know you would like that." She said with a sheaky voice from all the crying.

She ended it with a sigh and a single tear feel on the younger girls hand. "Remeber that day in the treehouse, what you promised me?" Jihyo asked.

They were laying there for hours just talking, laughing and singing while hugging when Jihyo asked Y/n something that she would never forget. "What is the thing you wanna do the most in your life?" Jihyo asked.

"Someday, I'll marry you, I promise."

"You said you'll marry me, you haven't done that yet, so please come back to me!" She said now crying and all her fears and emotions came pouring out.

"Please don't leave me!"
