¤Chapter 5¤

Mrs. Im made us breakfast this morning. After we were done eating Nayeon unnie insisted on measuring my blood pressure. I really was not in the mood for this again.

"Jesus y/n, stop moving for a second" she said. "Do we have to do this now unnie? I'm really not in mood for this." She rolled her eyes and said "you are never in the mood for this y/n so sit still so that we can get this over with."

After she finished, and everyting was normal again, we went to the livingroom to watch some movies until it was time to go home.

Everyone left already except for me, Jihyo unnie and Jeongyeon unnie. She was planning to stay at Nayeon's place for another night.

The door bell rang and mrs. Im opened the door. "Hello Ha Yi, nice to see you again, how are you?" we heard mrs. Im say trying to make a conversation while they were waiting for me.

We walked to the front door where my sister was talking with Nayeon's mom. "Hi unnie" I greeted her. "Hey girls, how was it?" She asked. "It was great unnie." I spoke. It's not that I like lying to her, but I just don't want her to worry over me again.

She looked at me with narrowed eyes and then turned to Jeongyeon unnie.
"How did she do Jeongyeon?" she asked again with a stern voice.

Jeongyeon looked at me and then back at Ha Yi unnie. "She had an episode again unnie, but Jihyo woke us in time." She said.

Ha Yi unnie turned to face Jihyo unnie who was just smiling, "you must be Jihyo then, my name is Lee Ha Yi and I'm y/n's older sister, thanks for the help." She said with a smile and put out her hand to shake.

"Nice to meet you Ha Yi unnie, glad I could help." She said while shaking her hand and bowing slightly. "I take it you are doing better now right?" She asked looking at me. "Yes unnie I'm fine."

I said goodbye to my friends and when I got to Jihyo unnie she hugged me. "See you at school y/nn." She wishperd in my ear. When she pulled back she winked at me and I got red again.

We walked to Ha Yi unnie's car and waved at the girls one last time. I got in the car and we drove away.

"Why did you lie to me y/n" she asked which caught me of guard. I looked at her with a regretful face and said "I'm sorry unnie, it's just that I know that you want me to have fun with my friends and do things on my own, and I don't want to disappoint you and mom, I also don't want you to worry about me so much".

She glanced over at me with a soft look on her face. "It's ok my dongsaeng, I forgive you". "Also mom has taken an extra shift again so she will be home after dinner."

Ever since dad died and I got old enough to go to school, mom got an extra job to provide for the family. She tried to be home as much as possible, but most of the time she got home late. It caused Ha Yi unnie to grow up really fast to take care of me since she is 5 years older than me.

Now that Ha Yi unnie has her own succesful busniss, mom droped one of her jobs, but she still feels guilty towards Ha Yi unnie. She always says that it's her job to provide for us and not unnie's job.

I sighed "that's the third time this week". Ha Yi unnie chuckeld "I know, it sucks, but now you know where you got your stuborness from." I just glared at her and playfully hit her arm. She put on the radio and we started singing along.

A few minuts later she got a call from her work phone and pulled over to answer it. "Yes?.....what! You are kidding right....aishhh unbelievable....ok just wait for me and arrange an emargency meeting with the team, I'm headed there now....ok, thanks for the heads up..bye".

She hung up and slammed her head on the steering wheel. She looked at me and said "I'm sorry kiddo, but there is an emergancy at work". "Ok, you can just drop me of at ho-" "nope, your comming with me, I'm not leaving you after what happend at Nayeon's house, I promise I won't make it long".

When we arrived at the company she pulled me inside. I guess she is in a hurry. "Unnie, jesus slow down". We got in the elevator after greeting some of her employees. I knew some of the people who work there already because i've been here before with unnie.

We arrived in front of the confrence room after a few minuts. "Just sit here and don't move, I'll be back as soon as possible" she said with a stern voice and entered the room leaving me all by myself.

I took out my phone and to my suprise, the batery had died and the charger was lying in unnie's car. "Great, just great" I said with a sigh.

"Dad, really, why did you have to bring me with you, I could've walked home." I heard a female voice down the hall. "I know, and I'm sorry sweetie, but it's an emergancy...just wait here for me..." and with that he disapeard into the same confrence room that my unnie entered in a few minuts earlier.

The girl took place besides me on the bench. She looked at me and smiled so I smiled back. "Are you also waiting for someone in there?" She asked while pointing to the room.

"Yes, my sister" she nodded and put out her hand for me to shake and said "my name is Ha Sooyoung but you can just call me Yves" "I'm Lee y/n nice to meet you." I shook her hand and she winked at me.

And I swear....my heart stopt beating for a second.

I got red again (what's new) and looked away smiling. "How old are you?"she asked. "I'm 18 years old". She giggled and said "I'm 19, so you'll have to call me unnie". I just nodded my head.

"So, since we probably will be here for a while, why don't we go to the cafeteria and see if they have any good snacks in the vending machine? My treat" she said.

I nodded and before I knew she was pulling me by my hand in the direction of the elevators.

I just hope we will be back before the meeting ends...otherwise Ha Yi unnie will kill me.

So a little adventure with my new friend Yves, what could go wrong?
