"Stark Party"
Viviana arrived at the party a little late. Her dress sparkled in the lights.
"Ah, the lady of the hour, Lady Viviana!" Thor said Viviana blushed tucking some of her hair behind her ear. She held the railing and smiled. She walked over to Steve and Sam who were having a conversation.
"Hey Vivi, how you feeling?" Steve asked. Viviana looked down.
"There are too many people here. Tony knows I can read minds, yet he still invites tons of people to a party," Viviana groaned. Steve wrapped an arm around her shoulder.
"It's going to be over soon," Steve said. Viviana smiled and walked over to the huge window that overlooked the city. She looked at the sky. She missed her father dearly. She didn't even know where he was, but he gave her a necklace and a stone. Viviana just wanted one conversation, to have some closure.
Nearly everyone here had a happy childhood. She spent hers in a school. Viviana still visited the school now and then. She was representing mutants in the modern world. She still spoke to some of her school friends, like Scott and Peter. Though she had no idea what they were up to.
Soon enough people left and the avengers were laughing on the couch. Some were trying to pick up Thor's hammer. Rhodey and Tony had themselves and part of their suit. Thor stood up picked up his hammer and flipped it around.
"Viviana, why don't you try," Thor said. Viviana got up and walked over to the hammer. Thor backed off. Only he knew that his brother was Viviana's father and she wanted to keep it that way until she was ready to share it.
"Alrighty then," Viviana said. She gripped the handle and lifted it as if weighed nothing.
"Holy sh*t," Viviana said looking at the hammer in her hand.
"Language, Vivi," Steve said.
"How?!" Bruce asked Thor stood up and put his hand on Sophia's shoulder.
"I was expecting her to be able to lift my hammer. After all, she is of Asgardian descent," Thor said then the room went silent. Viviana looked at Thor and slapped his chest nearly sending him through the wall.
Then a broken robot came into the room. He started to speak but Viviana was trying to drown out the voices in her head. Then she lifted objects with her mind and started throwing them at the broken bots. This started a fight, as she was fighting people were yelling.
"What did Thor mean!" Natasha yelled from across the room. Viviana was inflicting pain on one of the bots.
"I'll explain later, but not now!" Viviana yelled getting all the bots to finally die. The room went silent. Viviana cleaned up the room with her telekinesis, it looked the same before the bots attacked.
Viviana felt all eyes on her. Thought's burning into her head. She heard all their questions but had enough, so she took one look at them and turned to walk to her room. She wasn't in the mood. Everyone knew not to mess with Viviana's emotions. They were what controlled her powers. They also didn't know much about Viviana or her past, she's shy and never straightforward. But when it comes to a person's safety. She will speak up.
That night Viviana went to bed and didn't sleep. Too afraid to be alone in her mind. She was afraid to have a nightmare, she didn't want to have the same thing happen again. Because she knew that she'd have to confess to everything. And she wasn't ready for that. Not yet at least.
