This is an optional chapter which helps tie the previous book in the trilogy to this book, but you still do not have to had read the first book to understand what is happening here. It also gives a little context as to why the group of four who were taken were gone for three days and not one.

Saturday 1st June 2019.

Entry Log One.

Field Team Alpha have successfully infiltrated the event known as the "Insomnia 65 Gaming Convention" under the guise of privately hired security officers and medical personnel. By doing so, they have gained access to previously hidden files on the guest list of various people of interest who are attending the convention throughout the weekend, allowing us to spot interesting targets who we may be able to cross-reference with our database of those who shall be most affected by the AE-Toxin. Most importantly, Seán McLoughlin who is an Irish YouTube Star who goes by the online alias "jacksepticeye" shall be attending. After sending him the contaminated parcel over two weeks ago, our team hope that the parasite has not only formed, but also has been given time to properly grow. As it has been discovered that the toxin excreted by the parasite has increased production while its host is under large amounts of stress, we believe that an event such as a public convention should give the needed conditions to view what form Mr McLoughlin's parasite has developed into. We hope it is the form we have planned for.

Entry Log Two.

Field Team Alpha have been having difficulty in communicating with us due to unforeseen technical issues, meaning that ground reports have been coming through sporadically at best, or not coming through at worst. However, from the information that we have been able to view, the results are astonishing: Mr McLoughlin's parasite is greatly stronger than the original contained inside of our current test subject. It has an incredible ability that effect its surrounding environment, specifically that of screens. The ability to manipulate objects that are exterior to Mr McLoughlin's body is remarkable, and is of great interest to us. The field team has been ordered to cease their observations and attempt to collect Mr McLoughlin to bring him to the facility. A list of people who are of interest to us has also been requested, although they are not the priority.

Entry Log Three.

Field Team Alpha have been successful in collecting Mr McLoughlin, along with two other people who were on our list (Mark Fischbach and Ethan Nestor). Due to what they are calling "bad timing" a fourth person has also been collected by the name of Tyler Scheid. His death has been ordered the moment he reaches the facility to prevent unnecessary witnesses from forming.

Entry Log Four.

Previous request overridden. Tyler Scheid shall be kept alive. We are interested to test a parasite on a host who has no well-known "alternate form".

Field Team Alpha is going to be late to the drop off location due to "F***ing idiots crashing their cars on the motorway," (direct quote from their field leader. Disciplinary action will be taken later.)

Sunday 2nd June 2019.

Entry Log Five.

Field Team Alpha has arrived and all four men have been instantly seized and taken to Testing Room 1 to check their current vitals and levels of toxicity. Mr McLoughlin was the only one who was conscious upon arrival, but was quickly subdued after he tried to bite one of the members of Field Team Alpha and attempted to rip out the eye of another.

Entry Log Six.

Seán McLoughlin: Current toxicity percentage per/ml of blood is 15.02%. Physical condition is poor, with signs of sleep deprivation, malnourishment and various injuries of varying severity. Most prominent of these is the large gash across his neck, similar to that of his 'alternate form' seen throughout his online career.
