Chapter Twenty Three

It wasn't my first kiss, but man it felt like it was. His lips on mine were just something else. It was like our lips were moving on their own. Like the whole world stopped for this kiss. Sparks and butterflies shoot through my whole body as he pulled me more into the kiss by my neck. My hands ran through his hair as I kissed back just as deeply.

We finally pulled away when we were out of breath. For a moment, we both just stared at each other smiling and trying to catch our breaths.
"wow"
Chase said, amazed and out of breath.
"yeah, wow"
I replied just as amazed and out of breath.

It was like I'm in a haze. At this moment, I felt like I would give up everything for this man. My heart beats were racing by just the sight of his eyes.

I leaned in again and connected our lips one more time. I couldn't get enough of him. He kissed back. I deepened the kissed and tried to pull him closer to me as I ran my hand through the back of his head. He held my waist with a hand and my hair with the other hand. He pulled on my hair  making me moan to the kiss. He did the same. He pushed me to lay on the floor.

His phone rang. We both frowned and he looked at the caller ID. He rolled his eyes and answered.
"you're just always on time, aren't you.. Yeah yeah.. Bring them then.. No for three.. Anna's helping... No you don't have to stay you can actually take the day off... After they leave okay?.. Bye"

I was still laying on the ground, looking at him and tilting my head. Instead of helping me up, he layed next to me.

"that was Cecil. She's my assistant.. People are coming to take the furniture like right now.. She's leaving with them so we can have the whole day"
Damn, I forgot about the room.

I smiled. I love that he's freeing time for me though.
"you are cute, you know that?"
I replied making him look at me.
"I'm?"
He asked with an amused smile. I leaned in and picked his lips.
"you're the cutest guy I know"

Before he could say anything, a blonde girl came into the room. We both stood up and she smiled at me.
"you must be Anna. I'm Cecil. Chase's babysitter"
I laughed.

It's been three hours and the people responsible for moving the furniture to the other house finally left.

"so, how long have you known each other?"
Cecil asked me as chase was talking on the phone. She's a really sweet girl and we got along pretty well.
"for like, three or two years? But we never really been as close as we are now"
I replied with a smile as I folded chase's shorts. Damn he has way too many clothes.

"wow, that's a lot of time"
She said laughing and I laughed as well.
"yo, Cecil, you can leave if you want. Just make sure the stuff arrive safely. Ryland and baron are already in the other house and they'll take care of the rest"
Chase said walking towards us and circling his hand around my waist.

"done. I'll be here by twelve tomorrow, the other car is coming to move these boxes"
Cecil said and he nodded. She hugged us both and left.

"you're giving her the rest of the day off? Chase, it's literally eleven pm"
I said and he laughed.
"well she has like Thirteen hours off. That's a lot. Usually we're working twenty four seven"
I rolled my eyes with a smile.
