"Jeno, listen. For what it's worth, I'm sorry for hitting on Jaemin so much. I wasn't considerate of your feelings for him. I know that made you upset, and I'm sorry for that"

Ten apologized, as we flew to one of the farthest globes.

"...It's okay. I can't blame you for liking him. We have the same feelings for him, but in the end, he chose me. It only upsets me because you make him uncomfortable when you thirst after him like that. Aside from when you do that, you're a really cool guy. And who knows? Maybe Jaemin will actually consider you a friend if you finally start treating him like one"

I smiled, reassuring him.

"Right... I'm proud to be on the same team with you. And it's an honor to fight with you to save him"

"Likewise. I really appreciate your help in this fight"

We soon made it closer to our chosen globe, so we slowed down before we ended up crashing into it.

"Whatever we end up seeing or hearing, we can't let our emotions take over, no matter what. We can't risk losing this fight. If we fall under the pressure, we'll never save Jaemin"

"Agreed"

I nodded.

We entered the globe through one of the side openings, and quietly travelled down a dark and narrow path to the globe's core room.

The closer we got to the core, the more we became uneasy from the sounds we began to hear. There were two distinct types of voices that we could hear.

The voices of demon monsters, as well as Jaemin's voice.

The voices of the monsters sounded quite pleased and amused. However, the sounds that Jaemin was emitting were the complete opposite from that.

We could hear him crying and screaming, as well as him continuously gasping for air. We could hear him moaning too, but it doesn't sound at all like the moans of pleasure that I get from him wherever we fucked.

He sounds like he's in a lot of pain, like he's being forced and tortured against his will.

"They're breaking him..."

As of right now, I'm filled with both sadness and rage.

I couldn't stop myself from shifting into my Oni form. Knowing that he's in this much pain just makes me so angry.

"Jeno. Remember the plan. I'm really angry too, but we have to keep our cool"

Ten scolded.

"Right... Sorry..."

We continued to walk, until we finally found the core room.
