Chat Noir figured he could Cataclysm his way out of the web if he did in fact get pushed off, so he decided to get a little more information while he waited.
"So, what could you possibly want so bad as to go to all this trouble?" he asked casually.
Hawkmoth whipped around to face him, "What does it matter to you?"
Chat Noir sucked in a breath, "I mean you have spent the last hmm, five years trying to get my miraculous. The least you could do is tell me why."
Hawkmoth grinned, "I lost someone very important to me, and I need to bring her back. Once I have the cat and ladybug miraculous, my wish will finally come true."
"But at what cost?" Chat Noir went on, "Using the miraculous together will come at a terrible price–"
"One that I am more than willing to pay!" Hawkmoth snarled, his foot nudging Chat Noir's bound body even closer to the edge.
"Easy there Hawkmoth, you should know that cat's always land on their feet!" the spotted yo-yo slammed into Hawkmoth's face, and Chat Noir summoned his cataclysm, cutting through his and Carapace's bindings.
All hell breaks loose as dozens of Ladybug's run rampant around the Eiffel tower. Chat Noir didn't stay long though, as he was grabbed by the arm and pulled back into the school attic they'd started in.
