Standing outside of Miss Peters' classroom, Karl anxiously looked both ways down the hallway.

He was alone.

Checking his phone for the time, he cursed. They were almost ten minutes late.

And for what?

Another minute passed. Karl twitched, sighing and sliding down onto the cold floor.

Would the red show up instead?

Clenching his fists, he listened to the silence as if it were a lullaby for disaster.

A few minutes pass, and the sound of rapidly clicking heels echo around the halls. Karl jumped up, watching Miss Peters usher towards him. Her usually immaculate blonde and grey bun was now messily strewn around her scrunchie. Her blue eyes full of uncertainty and..

fear?

"Mr. Jacobs, I'm afraid to tell you that your detention has been postponed." She swept into her classroom, giving him no other information.

"Postponed? Okay then. See you tomorrow Miss Peters." Karl furrowed his brows, walking swiftly out of the hallway and into the dome. Taking a right, he exited the school and grabbed his bike.

Wonder what that was about.

Tommy was sitting on his bed, scrolling through his messages with SBI. Bored beyond belief, he wanted someone to annoy.

Phil was working at the diner. Techno was studying with Wilbur for a Geography test. Tubbo and Ranboo were hanging out.

He had no one else to bother. And it was driving him insane.

Sure, he could try and contact someone else from school, but why make the effort? That's the thing; he didn't want to work for it.

Lying down on his bed and tossing his phone away, he looked up at the red LEDs that were smiling calmly down at him. They were a gift from Phil, always telling him to not turn them to the blinking feature unless he wanted to have a seizure.

Remembering that memory, he grabbed the remote and hit the blinking button in defiance.

If only Phil was there to see it.

"Stop feeling all sad and shit. Lets go outside." Turning his LEDs back to classic red, he stood up from his bed. Stalking out of the room, he grabbed a sweatshirt.

"Where are you going?" Tommy's mom called from the kitchen.

"A walk." Tommy yelled back, putting his sneakers on.

"Take the dog out with you." She said, and a black dog scampered around the corner of the kitchen door.

"Hello there, dog." Tommy said, clipping the leash onto her collar. "Ready to go outside?"

He opened the door and stepped out into the sunlight.

Finding the sidewalk, Tommy watched his energetic dog scamper around the grass. Cars drove by, and a few people were encountered. But no one Tommy really knew.

"Cmon Betty, we're going to the park." He tugged on the leash, leading her across the road and into the enclosed fields.

Something buzzed in his pocket.

Letting Betty off her leash, he pulled out his phone. Narrowing his strikingly blue eyes, he frowned.

A notification of a random number popped up onto his screen. Stopping, he took a moment to process.
