˗ˏ HEESEUNG: when he first met Yuna, he saw how scared she was. She looked like a lost and scared puppy, and so he decided to be a friend to her and approached her first.
˗ˏ YUNA: for Yuna, Heeseung was like the light that brightened her darkest night.
SUMMARY of SLOT & L/I:
˗ˏ BEGINNING: They first met at the age of 6. It was when she was first brought into the BeLift Science Lab. Living in a foreign place where her parents are nowhere to be seen scared the young Yuna. She was really scared that she couldn't even talk to anyone, not even the kids around her age who are also in the same position as she is. Heeseung was the first one to approach Yuna. He stood by her side until she opened up to him.
˗ˏ MIDDLE: Yuna and Heeseung eventually became very good friends, always together in doing everything. Yuna takes care of Heeseung and the same goes for Heeseung with Yuna. After spending many times together, it was no surprise that both of them developed feelings for each other. Heeseung was pretty obvious and open about his feelings for her, meanwhile, Yuna's the opposite.
˗ˏ ENDING: In the end, they never really got into a relationship or something, instead they stayed as friends. (though there are still heart-fluttering moments in this so-called 'friendship' of theirs) It was pretty obvious that they both love each other yet they never really considered labeling themselves as more than friends. Yuna doesn't want to, since she believes she's gonna die soon, there's no point in doing so. According to her, she would rather spend her remaining days making memories with Heeseung and their other friends.
