Why didn't she tell me that she was feeling this way?

Sometimes I wonder if the universe has something against me. Does the universe hate me to the point where it doesn't want me to have any type of peace.

That's exactly how I feel, when I feel a large force fall on top of my back. That large force being Rosé.

"Rosie what the hell get off me. You're suffocating me." I manage to yell out in between my groans of pain.

Rosé then shoots up and says, "Are you calling me fat, Y/n?"

"I'm not calling you fat Rosie." I say with a sigh.

"It sounds a lot like you're calling me fat, buuuuut I'm willing to look past it if you agree to go shopping with me."

"No."

"Pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaaassssssseeeeeee."

"Let me think about it..."

I saw a hopeful look spread across Rosé's face.

"Hmm... no"

At this exact moment, I can see the wheels turning in her head. After about at least thirty seconds of silence, her eyes get bigger and she says, "How about this, I tell you pickup line and if you like it you have to come shopping with me."

What the worst that could happen?

"Go ahead."

"Hey, girl." Oh god I can already tell this is either going to be bad.

"If you were a cucumber, you'd be a cute-cumber."

I don't know if it's a coincidence or if it's fate, but suddenly crickets can be heard chirping outside.

"Uhhhhhh"

"A for effort, but still no."

"Ok fine then but just so you know, you won't be getting laid anytime soon."

"....."

Two hours later

"Rosieeee, can you we please take a break?! My feet hurt, and I'm fucking hungry!"

"I guess so, since you want to be a whiny baby."

We head to the food court, and we go find a table to sit at. Once we find a table, we head separate ways to get food.

As I'm standing in line, I feel someone tap my shoulder, I turn around expecting it to be Rosé, but I am shocked to see an unknown man in front of me.

"Excuse me miss, but I couldn't help notice how beautiful you are."

"Uhhh thanks I guess."

"Can I have your number?"

"I'm sorry, but I'm already dating someone."

The mystery guy starts looking around. He then looks at me with a smug look and says,"I don't see anyone, besides a beautiful girl like you deserves a handsome guy like me."

"I'm right behind you asshole."

The mystery guy turns around to see Rosé standing there with her arms crossed. If we were in a cartoon, steam would be coming out of her ears.

The guy then looks at Rosie, looks back at me, then looks back at Rosie. He then slowly backs away, and retreats to wherever he came from.

"Well that was interesting." I say while awkwardly chuckling.

"We're leaving now." Then without a word, Rosé just stops away.

On the car ride home, Rosé doesn't say a single word. No matter how much I try to make conversation, she won't say anything.

When we finally get in the door, I grab Rosé and sit her down in the living room.

"Why won't you talk to me Rosie? Are you mad at me."

I wait for her to say something, but she doesn't say anything. I finally become fed up with her behavior and say, "You know what, come find me when you decide to stop being childish."

I go to get up, but I am stopped by a hand grabbing my wrist.

"I'm not mad at you, I'm just scared."

I'm am taken back by her answer. Why would she be scared?

"There'a no reason to be scared Rosie."

"You don't understand Y/n, I'm scared of you leaving me. When I saw you talking to that guy, I thought that maybe you were better off with him. I mean he does have better pickup lines than I do."

Once again I am taken back by her answer. I never knew that she felt this way. I mean I knew that she has trust issues, but I didn't know that she was afraid of me leaving her.

"I'm constantly scared of you falling out of love with me, and falling in love with someone else. I always look at my flaws and tell myself that I'm not good enough for you. I know that I'm not perfect, but I just want you to stay with me."

I pull Rosé into a hug and say, "Rosie I would never ever in a million years even think about leaving you. You are the best thing that ever happened to me. You are literally the most perfect human being ever. Why did you tell me that you were feeling this way?"

"I didn't want you to pity me, and I didn't want you to feel like you had to stay with me."

"Rosie I would never pity you, I love and accept every part of you; the good and the bad parts. I love you and I'm not going anywhere whether you like it or not."

Rosé then catches me by surprise when she tackles me to the ground, and gives me a big hug and kiss.

"I love you so much, thank you for being there for me and making me feel better."

"Rosie I will always be there for you no matter what. I love you to the moon and back."
