Two Hours Earlier
I had decided to come home from work early today, so I could surprise Jisoo for our two year anniversary. I bought her favorite flowers, a brand new Dior bag, and to top it all off a diamond ring. I was planning on asking Jisoo to marry me. I was shaking with nervousness and excitement.
When I pulled into the driveway, I noticed a sleek black car parked in front of our house. I didn't pay it any mind because people park in front of our house all the time.
I shouldn't have walked into that house. I should of paid more attention to that car.
I unlock the door, take off my shoes, then head up stairs. As I was walking up the steps, I heard noises coming from our bedroom. I initially thought it was Jisoo playing her game.
I was wrong, so wrong.
When I open the door, I felt my heart break. It felt like it was breaking into tiny bits and pieces.
There Jisoo was, on the bed having sex with a male, having sex with a person that wasn't me. How could she do this to me, after all we had been through.
They had noticed me when I had dropped the flowers on the floor. I could immediately see the guilt forming on Jisoo's face. I run out of the room and out the house. I hear Jisoo run after me shouting my name.
"Y/N, Y/N. PLEASE SLOW DOWN I'M SORRY!" Jisoo shouted after me.
She had finally caught up to me and said,"Please sweetheart let me explain, it's not what you think."
"Then what is it Jisoo? Did I not just see you fucking another man? Why did you do this to me? How long has this been going on?!" I was boiling with anger.
Jisoo looked at me with teary eyes and weakly stated, "We have been seeing each other for about five months now."
"FIVE MONTHS, FIVE FUCKING MONTHS!! What the hell Jisoo, after everything we've been through. After everything I've done for you, you fucking cheat on me?! Was this all fake to you?! Did you ever even love me?!"
"Of course I did Y/n, and I still do. It's just you're barely ever home, and when you are home you eat then go to sleep. I have needs too Y/n, but you never acknowledge them."
"How fucking selfish can you be?! I work so I can take care of us, of you! I even told you that I wouldn't be home that much, because I was trying to get that promotion. I work my ass off every single day, so when I get home I am very fucking tired and hungry. So I have every fucking right to want to eat then sleep when I get home." I can't believe she would say that to me. All I want to do is take care of her, but clearly she only seems to care for herself and doesn't even acknowledge my hard work.
"I know that and I'm so sorry. Please this will never happen again, I'm begging you please don't leave me."
"I don't think you get it Jisoo. You cheated on me, I'm not just going to forgive you then act like it never happened. You broke my heart, and it's not just something I'm going to forgive and forget. I think it's best that we break up."
"No no no no no, please don't do this I love you more than anything."At this point her tears are streaming down her face.
"If you really loved me you wouldn't have cheated. And to think that I was going to ask you to marry me." I say with disappointment lacing my tone.
"Y-You we're going to ask me to marry you?"
"Well not anymore, we're over Jisoo. I never want to see you again."
I left Jisoo standing there on the sidewalk with tears pouring down her face and a broken heart just like mine. Walking away from the love of my life will forever be the hardest thing I ever done.
It was only eight months later that it was revealed that Jisoo and that man she cheated on me with, were getting married.
