it's just another february day.
the roads are still glazed
with jagged ice,
and the cold still bites at the heels
of misery's soulful disciples.
however, just for a moment,
when my gaze fell upon him
he was flower shops
and love notes,
silver chains with ruby pendants,
and velvet boxes of
sweets and chocolate;
he is simply breathtaking.
suddenly every lonesome clique
was a little more tolerable.
a little more beautiful.
