Persephone's head was pounding, her mouth dry as sandpaper and a terrible aching came from her stomach. That's when she remembers she is no longer in that dark prison but rather on the planet of giants. The blood on her hands reminds her of the gash she received earlier on her abdomen. She sits up, then lifts her bloody shirt and finds a scar instead of an open wound. Was I not bleeding earlier? Didn't I have a cut right there? Am I crazy? She wonders. "You're not." A loud voice startles her. She looks up to see a gigantic man with piercing green eyes and shoulder-length black hair staring her down. His height reaches higher than the tallest skyscraper she has ever seen. Her heart thuds with fear and she desperately wants to get out of sight of this man. Persephone scrambles away from the stranger only to find herself falling onto a soft surface. She lands with a soft thud and looks up to find that she was perched on a pillow. And now she sits on a bed that seems to go on for miles. "There is no need to be frightened, little one." He speaks softer than last time as if knowing that his voice is loud to her small ears. She shyly peeks up at the man through the hair that has escaped from behind her ear. He is positively enormous, she watches as he kneels and places a hand a few feet away from her. A hand bigger than that of her car at home. The weight of his hand causes her to stumble. She blinks back up at the man, she cannot believe this is real. She manages to stutter out, "W-where am I?" The giant takes a deep breath and swallows thickly as if contemplating what to say.

"What's your name, little one?"

She is trying to control her breathing, avoiding a panic attack. She gets the courage to speak, "Persephone." She states, or rather squeaks out.

Confusion passes through his face and he leans closer, and she quickly backs away. "Can you say that again, I didn't quite hear you?" He takes up her entire line of sight with his billboard-sized face. Never feeling smaller in her life, she repeats her name.

"Persephone." The man says her name as if he likes the way it sounds. His voice is silky and...elegant. Attempting to be polite so as to not anger the giant she asks, "What is your name, uh sir?" His eyes flick down her form. The green orbs don't have to travel far, perhaps a mere second and she feels his eyes bearing into hers. He acts as if he is surprised by her simple question but he soon responds with "Loki." Persephone repeats his name as he did hers, still trying to process that this is all real. Then she remembers her newly healed wound.

"H-how did my cut heal so quickly?"

Loki shifts his hand to adjust his weight and it causes her to stumble...right onto the back of his hand. His skin is cold to the touch and smooth. She is too surprised by the sudden contact to immediately get off so by the time she regains her senses his fingers are gently pinched around her stomach to steady her as he removes his hand from under her dainty form.

"Careful little one," he comments as if stumbling onto his hand was her fault. His fingers leave her waist after he deems her steady enough to stand on her own.

"I healed it for you. You would probably be dead if it wasn't for my brother finding you."

Her mind is trying to recover from the sudden fall but she manages to blurt out a question, "Who is your brother?"

"No need to know that right now." She quickly thinks of another question, trying to avoid making the giant "Loki" irritated.

"Okay then where am I? What is this place?"

The same look of thought came over his face as it had before when she had asked minutes before.

"I can't tell you that"

"Okay, then why is everything so big?" She asks, exaggerating the largeness of everything with her arms, and getting tired of the lack of information he is giving her.

"Everything here is not big, you are just tiny." He remarks with a smirk on his face.

She sits down on the bed suddenly tired again. Her head pounds and she rubs her temples to get the pounding out of her skull. She hears fabric shifting and glances up to see now that Loki has now stood up. He towers over her, his body seeming to go on and on, how can someone possibly be this big? She can't take her eyes off of him as he walks away. Every footstep of his sends slight tremors through her body. Unexpectedly, a door in the gigantic room opens up and to her horror, she sees another giant entering. As if things couldn't get any worse.

The meeting with his father went as he had thought it would. Odin had been angry with him and his lack of timeliness. He wished it wouldn't bother him as much as it did. But for now, his mind was preoccupied with other things, like a positively tiny lady in Loki's quarters. He didn't bother knocking this time and entered of his own accord. He spots Loki in a corner sitting in a chair, he is oblivious to the minuscule woman who is currently on the bed terrified of his presence. "How is she doing?" He asks Loki.

"See for yourself," Loki says without bothering to look from his novel.

Thor turns around and searches around the room until his eyes land on her form sitting on the bed. Her form is swallowed up by the heavy blankets that cover Loki's bed. He kneels by her and looks her up and down with a flick of his curious eyes. He fails to notice how utterly terrified she is, as she takes slow steps away from him. "Brother, back up. You're frightening the poor woman." Loki calmly says as if reprimanding a child. Thor does as told, feeling guilty about scaring her. "Sorry Lady... what is your name?" She looks up at him, "Persephone." Thor has to strain his ears and lean down to hear her better. "It is a pleasure to meet you Lady Persephone." She manages a shy smile but keeps her distance. "And what is your name?" She asks him. "Thor." He replies with a warm, inviting smile. Suddenly a servant walks into the room. She looks around and apologizes as she sees she has walked into a room without knocking.

Thor quickly scoops Persephone into his hand, he can completely close his fingers around her. The action makes him shiver to think about how delicate she is.

"I-I'm terribly sorry, Prince Thor, Prince Loki. I didn't mean to intrude. Prince Thor, your father requests your presence. Yours as well Prince Loki."

"Very well, thank you for informing us," says Thor. The servant bows and hurries out of the room. He hears Loki grumble something about rude servants, and when he looks back he sees how Loki had stood from his seat and make his way towards the bed. Does he care for the woman? Loki stands and walks the rest of the way towards him glancing worriedly at his closed fist, Thor brings his occupied hand closer to his face and opens it. A very disheveled Persephone glares up at him. "My apologies Lady Persephone, I did not want anyone to see you. However, it looks as though we must go meet our father, would it be alright for you to sit in my pocket?" He waits patiently for Persephone to think, but eventually, she agrees. He lowers her to his chest pocket and levels his hand with it. He watches with fascination as she climbs into the pocket and he feels her small weight hit the bottom. "Is that comfortable?" He waits for an answer but hears none, then he feels a dainty tap on his chest. He takes that as a yes.
