Aurora sighs as she looks around once more. "Really mother? Why are you doing this? Why won't you let me die in peace?"
"I will send you back after we talk." The Throne says walking towards her daughter. She isn't the proud figure she had been the previous times they've talked.
"What is there to talk about? You made yourself very clear, what you want is all that matters, nothing else, no one else." Aurora says and feeling dizzy sits down on the lawn.
"I'm sorry. I refused to listen to what you had to say and because of that you are truly dying. I would ask that you fight to live, not for me but for Margaret and for Marcus and the children you are pregnant with."
"I can't, it's too hard, I can let him be with Margaret, but I just can't handle him being with any others. I can't handle the pain any more. For twenty years I managed to keep all others out of my life besides Margaret. As long as I did that then there was no pain. Then you forced Marcus onto me and I gave him a chance and let him in.
"Do you have any idea just how hard that was for me? The first time he came up to me and stopped me from drinking the poison? I swear that it was Demetri that came up to me. It was shock more than anything that stayed my hand. That was the reason I didn't leave immediately as well.
"Which I'm glad for since it allowed me to see the downfall of Garrett.
"When he came to me to give him a chance I wanted to be sick. When he said that about other females I almost lost control. I cried for some time after he left.
"He promised there would be no others, not even his brothers. I didn't believe him, at least not at first. Yet, I did give him a chance. I let him in and then You tell me that he has to take that other female. Not just as a mistress but as a wife. Why? So her children can be well known scholars." Aurora scoffs.
"That is the most asinine reason to force a person to marry another that I've ever heard. I'm sure that there are worse ones but I've never heard one before.
"I can't do it. I've done all I can to help your people and I have no more to give since you've taken the only reason for me to do so away."
"How's that, Aurora?"
"There is no reason to help a people that will just lie and cheat. There are no laws followed by all. You don't even follow your own laws. If you refuse to follow them, then why the hell should they?
"You turn good people into liars, I can't take it any more."
"Don't please, I won't make him take any others as wife or mistress, just please fight to live."
"I have more or less given my trust to Marcus, but you, you I don't trust at all. Why should I believe you now? You don't follow your own rules and laws so there is no reason to believe you now."
"Give me a chance to prove myself worthy of your trust. Go back and fight to live. I swear that I won't make Marcus take any others. You become queen and have the children. If after that you find that I've lied then I won't ask any more of you. Please, you must hurry or you will lose the children. Don't punish them because of my decisions. You are an incredible mother, they deserve to have you be their mother and they will have a great father but only if you survive."
"This is just more of your manipulations. You just want the children to survive."
"No. If you don't continue to live then neither will Marcus. Any child under the age of five that is of his blood will be killed if he dies and the queen dies as well. He will die if you die after you have the children, of that I have no doubt. At this time he has no plans to survive until sunset tomorrow since you aren't expected to make it to dawn tomorrow."
