I woke up, it was early in the morning, i had just gotten out of my bed that morning to go and get all the gear from my weapon cache I had been hiding. I suppose this where I should mention who I am, my name's trevor sthone. I was originally a tester towards the end of the gilded age, even though I i was a tester, I managed to smuggle some of the gear out for I saw what was coming, even if others didn't, that's why I smuggled some of the best gear I can find. Most well known among them is ice breaker. Even though I was only 10 when I first started the job, even though I was young when I first started it, I was one of the best in the trade. But in the distance even if I couldn't actually see it, I could feel it approaching, feel its encroaching presence. I could feel the darkness coming after me, or more specifically after the planet I lived on, Venus. That is why I joined the local academy for the traveler. I joined it to combat the darkness I saw coming in from the far reaches of space. I saw that there would be people to help me out on my adventures and endeavor into the darkness so that I may combat it. Among these people I met them all the first day. The first one is Jessica Drake. I instantly saw that she was although vulgar, was quite sincere in her motives and appeared to be quite relaxed in her approach and she showed much promise, a strong light. The second was Reid Chrisoff. He was a diligent student from day one, he seemed to be fully dedicated to the study and research of the different biological sources. This one I saw much more potential for him to grow and achieve the level I had anticipated from this one. His skills I felt would be invaluable in the series of adventures I foresaw might happen very soon. The third and last one I met was Joshua Marx. When I met him that first day I saw that although he was always cracking a joke or playing a video game on his xbox that he snuck into his dorm through security, he showed enormous potential and perhaps even the key to the team.
