Part 1: Beautiful

"Argh....S-shit"

Subaru clutches his stomach as the strength of his legs gave out and his body fell to the ground

"Now you've done it...Did you really just stabbed him!?"

a large and intimidating looking man with purple hair and eyes shouted

"I-I couldn't help it, he was coming right at us!!"

the man with a white complexion and grayish-blue hair replied

As Subaru was listening to the two argue, the pain in his stomach became worse. his body feels cold and his strength begins to fade rapidly.

But just then, he felt that something warm was pierced into his back

"Gaaahhhh!"

Subaru couldn't help but scream at the sudden sense of pain that was inflicted on him

"Oi, why'd ya do that!?"

"well, there's no point in wasting it! Hurry up and grab anything on him that's worth selling!"

a short person with mushroom-shaped hair replied as he crouched down and started looking around at Subaru's items.

"How...........why d-did th...is....happ....ened?"

Subaru murmured as he thought back to his short moments in this place.

Subaru was suddenly transported into another world when he was about to return to his home from the convenience store. when he realized this he was excited, Subaru had read a lot of light novels with similar situations in which the main character would have some sort of overpowered ability which allows them to save the world and make lots of girls fall in love with them.

Subaru thought that he was the same, and tried to quickly see if he does have an overpowered ability by trying to save a child that was about to be hit by a carriage but failed to do so, the child was instead saved by some sort of knight. he quickly realized that he didn't have any psychic-like abilities, his body also didn't feel stronger compared to when he was in his old world so he was disheartened at the fact that he may not have any special abilities and continued exploring the new world.

He found out that the place he was in was similar to a timeline in his old world, he also realized that instead of only humans, there were also Demi-Humans that are living with them in the community

He suspected that there was some sort of discrimination against the Demi-Humans due to a few buildings being built specifically for them, He once tried to enter a washroom but was quickly slapped by female Demi-Humans and was kicked out. then he tried to enter a tavern but was kicked out due to being Demi-Humans being allowed to enter, he was pushed out by a man that looked like a lizard which caused him to fall into a nearby bridge, luckily the bridge had water under it and so he didn't suffer any injuries.

Feeling exhausted, he opted to just rest in an alleyway in order to dry his clothes but was

stopped by three men that looked menacing, one of them shouted.

"If ya don't wanna get hurt then cough out everything ya got!"

One of them had a white complexion and had grayish-blue hair, he was wearing a prison suit and had chains wrapped around his throat and wrists

The other had a large and intimidating body, he had purple hair and eyes was wearing a green vest

While the last one looked like a short kid with mushroom-shaped hair, he was wearing a cloak that covers most of his body

As Subaru looked at the trio he accidentally blurted out

"Damn is this a scripted event?"

He knew of similar situations in the light novels that he read and couldn't help but laugh

"Oi bastard...what are ya laughing at huh?"

the short man asked

"Kuku...It's nothing, it's just that it's funny to actually be in situations like these"

"Hah?"

Subaru thought that this may be the time in which his hidden power would awaken and so instead of feeling fear, he felt nothing but confidence at the moment

"You guys won't be calm for long, I'll beat your asses and turn you into exp!"

"e.x.p? what's he yapping about?"

"Dunno, but what I do know is that this kid is mocking us"

"Seems like ya don't understand your situation huh?!"

Subaru couldn't help but laugh more, even the way they talk screams the word 'cliche'

The Three looked even more confused and Subaru took advantage of that by launching a preemptive strike, he charged at the man with grayish blue hair and launched a hook that directly hit his face.

"Gah!"

The force sent the man backward and the other two looked surprised at what just happened

Subaru then kicked the short man with his right foot which also sent him flying backwards

"K-Kan? Damn you!"

The large man charged at Subaru and sent a punch in the direction of his face, Subaru intercepted this and caught his arm, he then attempted to twist it which caused excruciating pain for the man.

"Grragghh!"

The man screamed, Subaru then sent a kick into his groin which caused the man to fall to the ground

"Hahaha! don't underestimate a man which has too much free time in his hands!"

Subaru attempted to send a kick into the man's head to knock him out but then he heard someone charging at him from behind, Panicked, Subaru turned backward to stop the enemy but he was too late

"W-what?"

A knife was plunged right into his stomach, Subaru panicked at the sight of his tracksuit being filled with the crimson color and attempted to remove the knife, but the pain made him hesitate and he started to quickly lose blood

"Argh....S-shit"

Subaru was helplessly lying on the ground while the three searched him for any potential items to sell

"Damn I ain't seen anything like these before, ya think they're from another country?"

"Who cares, Just hurry it up before those guards come here!"

"I know! why don't ya come down here and help us?"

Subaru's body continued losing its strength as time passes, his vision started to grow blurry, and his body became cold.

After the three finished looting Subaru, they stood up and opted to escape

"All right that's all of it....we could try to sell this to that old man bu-"

The grayish-blue man stopped in his tracks as he saw something extraordinary

the other two wondered why he stopped and looked in the same direction as he was, they were completely mesmerized at the same way

Though he was on the verge of death, Subaru wondered why those three weren't running, using all of his remaining strength he lifted his head and looked in their direction, what he saw was something immaculate

What they see is a young girl with long platinum hair that was fluttering with the wind, her eyes were dark blue, and seemed to stare at the very soul of all who looks at it, she possesses an aura that gives off importance and made everyone who was staring at her including Subaru, feel a sense of Euphoria in their hearts. She was wearing a simple white cloak over her petite figure.

In all of Subaru's short life, this was the most beautiful thing that he has ever seen, not even the beautiful models of his world could compare to her beauty, in fact, it made Subaru uncomfortable even thinking about it

'Divine' was the only word that Subaru could describe her with

without realizing it Subaru said

"Beautiful....."
