"Oi Oi what's your problem? why are you walking so fast?!"

Felt asked Subaru who was walking at a quick pace

"The sun is almost down... if have to at least accomplish something at this life"

"What are you talking about? Slow down, you're drenched in sweat!"

Felt tried to talk Subaru down but he showed no sign of slowing down

"Haaa...Live strong"

Subaru remembered that saying, most of the people from the slums that he asked from his first loop also said the same thing

"Come to think of it everyone at the slums says that, is it some kind of slogan around here or something"

Felt's face upon hearing this turned sour and replied

"Don't compare me those guys, they say that but they're weak and make no effort to improve themselves and their lifestyle...they spend their time drinking away their lives...they're just a bunch of losers at life"

"That's harsh...aren't you being a bit too arrogant right now?"

Felt then ran in front of Subaru and looked at him dead in the eyes with her crimson red eyes that are filled with an unwavering will

"I'm not like the people here...I'm going to make myself better and get out of the slums...I have no intention of staying weak forever!"

Those words rang at the heart of Subaru, He felt that his situation is similar to her's right now and felt some sort of affinity towards her

Subaru couldn't help but smile, he reached his hands over her head and rubbed it

"O-Oi what are you doing!"

"Don't worry about it....."

"What the hell do you mean! Stop it! I'll bite you!"

'I have to be stronger, I have to make myself better so I can see her once again, so I can stand by her' Subaru thought

"Cut it off!"

Felt moved quickly and bit Subaru's hand

"Gaaaahhhh!"

After walking for a while they finally reached the location of the loot house, Subaru felt anxious coming back here after what he just experienced but calmed down after a moment

Felt then moved closer to the entrance of the loot house and knocked on the wooden door

A deep voice then responded from the other side

"To the giant rats,"

"Poison."

"To the skeletons,"

"A pitfall."

"To the noble dragon, we are,"

"Shitbags."

She quickly answered the questions of the person from the other side

"So there was some sort of password huh that's- Gah!"

The door was suddenly opened from within with such force that it was like it had been kicked open, Subaru was not expecting it so he was hit by it and was launched backward, Felt looked like she expected something like this to happen so she dodged it with ease

"Come on old man Rom, if you keep opening it like this then you'll break the door you know?"

"Oh, that so? My bad I'll be more careful next time"
