Me and Elaine went to bed early. Ever since she became pregnant, she's been so tired. Some nights I'll lay with her until she falls asleep then go in the living room to watch tv. Other nights I'll read with my night vision.
Elaine has been feeling a lot of kicking in her belly so I stayed with her tonight. I took out a book to read and I turned off the lamp on the side of me. I closed my eyes to activate my night vision. I began to read the book.
After and hour I was ready to yell. Elaine kept moving and groaning. She usually did this a lot but I would just go in the living room. But I didn't want to leave her. But it was still annoying as fuck.
"Bigby!" She screamed.
"What is it?!" My heart skipped a beat.
"I'm going into labour!" She was crying.
"I'll call the doctor!" I said reassuringly.
"No time! It's starting to come out!" Elaine screamed.
I picked up Elaine from the bed. My heart was pounding quickly.
"I'll run you there then!" I ran down the hall.
I opened the door and ran out, hoping it would shut on its own. I felt like I was about to burst. I was excited for the birth but scared. We had everything ready for the child. But it was nervous for how it would change our life.
The child could possibly look like wolf and she would have to move to the farm. Oh I am so nervous. I wasn't allowed on the farm. My thoughts just made me more worked up.
I took the stairs up to the hospital floor. It was quicker and less awkward then the elevator. Elaine screamed in my arms. We made it to the hospital floor. Someone saw us and came running.
"What's wrong with her?!" The man asked.
"She's having a baby!" I shouted nervously.
"Nurse!" The man called out. "Get the room ready!"
"Where's Elaine going to be taken?" I asked, my voice shaky.
"Follow me and I'll show you!" The man ran down a hall.
I quickly followed, my head pounding. Elaine screamed again. She clung tightly onto me. We went into a room with a bed and the stuff to deliver a baby.
"Just set her on the bed and we'll handle her!" The nurse called out.
Elaine cried and screamed. She held out her hand to me. I wanted to be by her side so I took her hand. I bent next to her, she tried to smile but screamed.
"I'm staying with her!" I stated.
"Ok, she needs the comfort." The doctor said.
"Hurry the fuck up!" Elaine screamed.
"Ok just a moment." Yelled the doctor.
The doctor removed her pants and underwear. Then he laid a something over her to cover her. Luckily she wore a big t-shirt to bed. The nurse propped up her legs and spread them apart. Elaine grasped my hand tightly.
"Fucking hell! Please! Hurry!" Elaine yelled, tears streamed down her face.
"Ok, get ready!" The doctor told her. "And push!" He yelled.
Elaine screamed bloody murder. She squeezed my hand very tightly. I put my free hand over hers.
"You'll be fine, my love." I whispered reassuringly.
"Again, push!" He screamed.
She screamed even louder then before, if that was even possible. I felt my hand crack from her squeezing it. She was pretty strong. The doctor gasped and cursed to himself. He called out a slurred that was somehow interpretated. Because two other men came running in. They were talking nervously amongst each other.
