Epilogue

Heart's POV

Rav and I are sitting in the sand while watching the sun's beautiful exit under the deep ocean. His arms are wrapping around my body and my head is resting in his broad chest.

The sunset gives a beautiful ending of our long sorrows and a good sign that our beginning will rise and start from now on.

I look up to him when I feel his kiss in my forehead.

I feel like all the weight that I've been carrying is lifted and I could face anything now without fear.

"Let's go home, Zanara."

But whatever it is I will face it bravely raising my head up with confidence.

"Baby, what are you thinking?" nabalik ako sa sarili ng maramdaman ang mahinang yugyog sa akin ni Rav.

Napakurap-kurap ako at nginitian siya, "It's nothing, Rav." Tugon ko. But he seems not believing it. He pulled me into a hug and whispered sweet words in my ear to ease my worries.

"It's alright, Baby." He assured. I nodded and pulled away from the hug. Bumaba siya at pinagbuksan ako ng pinto.

Again he intertwined our hands while swaying it on the way to the main door.

"Son you're home. I've been waiting."

"Dad." Rav uttered in surprise.

So that's why I've been worried. My premonition was right. I'm glad I've been saving courage for this time to come. Napa-aga nga lang.

"Who are you?" tanong niya nang mabalingan ang magkawak naming kamay ni Rav.

I shifted my gaze to Rav and give him an I'm okay look. He then looks at me with confidence.

"Dad, she's my girlfriend." Rav muttered without a pause exuding power through his words.

"What did you say? But you already have a fiancé, son."

His son just release a bomb and it's very sudden that he didn't avoid it.

Tiningnan niya ako mula ulo hanggang paa at tumigil sa aking mukha.

"You look familiar, Miss. Have I seen you before?" he asks putting his hand on his forehead to think. Napalunok ako.

"Hmmm...

"I'm once your son's bodyguard, Mr. Del Rio."
