"you wear it well"
Caroline put her hands to the werewolf's face and Lucy put hers around the blondes waist. Caroline stood over her, as Lucy still sat in her painters stool. Something about this kiss made Caroline see things clearly for moment, yet get lost in space in time as Lucy's tongue enveloped hers. This was wrong. Yet right. As Lucy stood they got closer. She went to push the vampire on the bed when an image of Stefan came into Caroline's mind.
"Wait wait wait." She pulled back.
"What's wrong?" Lucy asked worriedly as she stepped away.
"I can't- my duty is to Stefan. I'm sorry-" she tried to catch her breath after quite possibly the best kiss in her life.
"No need to apologize, Princess. I admire your loyalty." Then she muttered. "And your restraint."
"I'm glad you're back home." Caroline ran her fingers through her hair that she let loose for the day and left Lucy's room.

Draco saw Lucy come down the steps and he held out his arms. She immediately ran to him, high fiving him. "I am so proud of you."
"I know I know, I'm amazing." He bowed.
"Confessed your love and pissed off mum all in one day." She laughed. Then she fake gasped. "I might be the favorite child this month."
He laughed loudly and pushed her airside jokingly. "Mother would prefer one of the wolves of the outlands to us."
"I don't know, things are looking up for me now that my big brother is involved in a 'scandal'" she said, dramatically putting a hand to her head as people talked about Draco all day.
"What a wretched man." He said, pretending to go faint and put a hand to his chest.
"And what have we here? My children making fun of something that has no humor. Typical." Queen Kallista came in front of them suddenly.
"Damn where'd she come from?" Lucy muttered, startled.
"Draco, may I speak to you a moment?" Kallista looked more serious than she had ever did.
"Mother it's really not-"
"Silence, Lucinda. For once it's not you on my bad side. Perhaps we keep it that way?" Her mother raised an eyebrow at her.
Draco agreed to leave with her mother so Lucy wouldn't wolf out and murder her. He winked to Lucy, a sign of him being okay, and she winked back. She deep breathed, her mother was the only thing in the world able to stir up enough emotions to make Lucy lose control. In fact if it weren't for her magicked ring, she'd never be in human form. Simply because she was related to the wretched woman.
Hours later, the award ceremony was to begin. Lucy and Draco had saved many people during the blast in battle, nearly losing their own lives. So they were going to be honored with awards for bravery.
"Has anyone seen my mother? Or Draco?" Lucy walked around, fully dressed and waiting.
"I haven't seen him since this morning." Oliver said, coming to her side.
"Nice morning I bet." She playfully elbowed him.
"Indeed." He smiled.
"My darling." King Christian came up to hug his daughter. "I haven't seen your mum or your brother, but she sent letter to start without them."
"Ooh spotlight all to myself. Don't mind if I do." She made her way to the royal room, Oliver and her dad by her side.
They went ahead as she went behind a curtain so she could come out when they called her name. Caroline comes up to her, after a whole day of avoidance. "Have you seen my dad? I can't find him anywhere."
"No I haven't. I've spent most of my day here." Lucy responded. But quickly added after seeing the slight fear in the girls eyes, "i'll help you look for him."
"No, no. You're about to be honored. I can't pull you away."
"I don't mind."
She smiled. "It'll be okay. I'm sure he'll turn up. He's probably looking for frogs or something."
Lucy chuckled lightly at the remembrance of King Robert's interesting personality. "See you out there?"
"Definitely." The blonde smiled at her, suddenly feeling very nervous to talk to Lucy.
"And Princess Lucinda Robins of the wolves, for saving a total of sixty two lives with her brother." King Christians voice announced.
She picked up her blue velvet dress and walked out into the room. Multiple people clapping for her, some of them gave her dirty looks as they recalled the news of her brother. She couldn't care less. In Lucy's eyes, her brother could do no wrong.
"Help me! Help me please!" A voice screamed throughout the halls.
They all turned around to reveal Queen Kallista covered in blood.
"My son! He's gone crazy!" She ran into the crowd, alarming everyone in the room.
"What happened?" Lucy asked concerned.
"He said- he said you're next." The queen pointed to Caroline, who grew scared at the threat.
Lucy and her father ran to where she came from. They stopped short and Lucy widened her eyes.
On the floor King Robert laid dead.
And Draco towered over him with a bloody stake in his hands.
"Draco." Lucy muttered to him.
As if he was knocked out of a trance at the sight of his sister and father, he dropped the stake. "I-I-I- I didn't do it. I swear- I was here- then something- someone. I swear, sister, I did not do it." He grew scared at the sight, wondering what the hell happened.
"What is going-" Caroline came up beside them and looked to her father.
Lucy grew concerned for the girl and had just lost another parent, yet had no certain emotion on her face.
"They'll kill me. For this- I'm dead. Bloody hell. What do I do?" Draco put his blood stained hands to his head.
"You three need to leave, immediately." King Christian said, believing his son.
"What?" Caroline asked.
"My wife and son have been compelled, if what she says is true, you're next. Your father would want you safe. Three of you go, now." The King ushered all three of them to the back door.
Caroline held onto Lucy's hand bone crushingly tight as the three supernatural royals escaped for their lives.
