Lucass Scott
I'm almost at the clients house, when I look at the meter on the dash of the car and it's showing signs that I need more gas. Just perfect, I'm already running late because Alice told me last minute about joining her stupid team and I, of course need to meet this client because he's important. What's even more perfect is I have no idea where I'm driving to and I can't find one fucking gas station near me, great.
After diving a mile finally a gas station appears in my site, I pull in a step out of my car. Gosh it's hot, the sun blazes down on my pale skin, the wind blowing slightly against my wavy black hair. I cover my eyes from the sun praying it doesn't burn my skin; I start the process of getting gas. I quickly finish feeling myself start to sweat as my black ripped jeans started to feel a little uncomfortable, the white collared button down shirt also starts to have the same affect; one thing I do not like is the heat. What a bad start to the morning.
I begin my journey again looking at the gps seeing that I'm a few miles from the house. When I pull onto the dirt path I see a very luxurious cabin a little further out. As I got closer I can see it was quite an amazing lay out, yet simple. The main house I'm guessing had a structure of tree logs like your average log house but the roofing of it looked like glass which was a strange combo if you ask me. I gazed around seeing two small semi attached cabins, one looked the same as the main house and second one on the right side was glass all around with wood logs as beams on the four corners reaching the black tiled roof; a strange place indeed. After examining from my car I gather my books and step out the car, my black boots hits the dirt on the ground, I start walking towards the front of the cabin? I don't really know what to call this. I now stand on stones that was spread all over the front of the house making it look like a stone garden, very very beautiful. Walking closer to the black metal door; okay why is the door black, I ring the door bell. No answer, press it again...again...again, still no answer. What the hell, is he not home? I step closer to the door bending over looking through the glass windows on the side of the door trying to peek inside to see if I catch a glimpse. Is this man dead or playing dead?
I hear a deep husky voice saying ,"And who might you be?". I gasp quickly turning around slamming straight into a sweaty brick wall. What the fuck. I feel a thick arm wrapping around my waist, I look up slowly at this tall broad man, sweat drenching his perfect light brown skin, droplets rolling off his sharp chiseled features, "Woah watch out little one". His voice comes out husky and slightly out of breath like he was just running. Then I see it his alluring smile that makes you want to stare at his pink lips but I don't, nope not falling for it but his eyes those beautiful hazel eyes looked at me with something you would see in a predator stalking it's prey. What wasn't helping was the fact that this man had to be at least six feat six inches and me who's only five feat seven but the way he was looking at me made feel like a wolf eyeing a small white bunny.
"I'm uh....looking for Kaden Smith, sir." stammer like a dumb ass but I couldn't help it he looked like he wanted to eat me and I felt my cheeks start heat up at thought of my dirty mind; now is not the time to be thinking of dirty thoughts, right I'm here to do a job. I push myself out of his big arms hugging the books in my arms closer to my chest.
He keeps eying me, that smile tugging on his lips never leaving his face and looks almost as he's amused. "Sir?" the same husky voice comes out again making the blush on my cheeks redden, I'm sure of that. "Yes sir, I'm looking for Kaden Smith." I say it again like he didn't just hear me, great move dummy, well at lease I didn't stammer.
His left eyebrow raises, his smile turning into a smirk, he walks closer towards me and I just walk backwards my back hits the door, I gulp hard watching as he preyed closer; my eyes never wavers from his eyes as I'm being cornered like prey. I hear keys jingle and a click follows after, I look next to me seeing as he unlocks the front door. When did he even get his keys in his hands, when did he move his arms to the door, why do I keep missing things he does around me?
"Are you going to keep standing there or are going to come in, little bunny." that smirk still tugging his lips, he moves in a little closer, I keep pushing into the door wishing it would move. "I'm not going in what if you murder me or something, big bad wolf." I chuckle out. Oh God, I really hope he doesn't murder me.
After I say that he chuckles bending down a little holding onto the door handle, then looks back at me smiling. "And why would I murder a cute little bunny who came to collect my work." I registered what he said, shit he thought I was cute, wait no no that's not it he's Kaden Smith, shit. I went into business mode remembering I'm here for work. "oh I'm sorry sir I didn't recognize you, well you see Alice sent..." before I could finish my sentence he cut me off. " Yeah yeah I know, now would you please come inside so we may talk, as you can see I'm all sweaty." I gulped hard looking at his 'sweaty' shirt sticking to his well toned body, I quickly avert my eyes and duck down under his arm and next to him. He follows my every movement as his hand opens the door. He walks in and I trail after him closing the front door behind me, into the wolfs den I go.
"You have a lovely home Mr.Smith." my eyes start wandering around at the black interior design, everything looked very aesthetic and modern and not even a dust insight, very neat maybe a little too neat."Thank you I designed it myself, everyone always tells me it has a unique layout.", more like weird I think to myself. He tells me he's going to take a quick shower and I can wait for him in the living room. As I walk into the living room I can see a stone fire place and three walls were glass with wooden beams that attached itself to the glass roof. All of it was so beautiful cause everywhere you gaze out through the glass you saw a breathtaking view of the nature that surrounded the house.
I didn't realize how long I was taking in the view till I heard him calling out to me. With a stern face he asks, "...are you okay?", turning towards him I see him in black basket ball shorts and very tight black tank top that outlined every muscle on his chest and torso, his vein popping arms bulging. Shit I'm staring too long. I turn away fast looking out the window, "I've never seen something so beautiful". I can feel his gaze on my skin making my hairs stand on end. "I mean when you look up you can see this blue sky and when you look out there you see these bright green trees that flow nicely in the wind. And I think I can even see a little meadow over there." I try to explain myself, then turn around to meet his eyes that are studying me intently.
"You're right there is meadow full of Catalina midnight blue." He looks out the window into the direction of the meadow and I can see a sadness in his eyes and small tug of smile pulling a the corner of his lips. What is that look, where'd the charming smile go? I almost want to ask if he's okay but I restrain myself from asking him. He looks like he just snapped out of his daze and turns to me again, the charming smile is back on his face. Spoke too soon. "Anyway what's your name or would you like me to keep calling you little bunny". He has that signature smirk while asking as his stalks closer. I'm very close to snapping at this point, I hate pet names. I sigh, "I'm Lucass Scott, pleasure to meet you sir." I extend my arm for a hand shake, his big hand nearly covers my whole hand as he engulfs it with a stern shake, gripping tight, his veins from his hands traveling all the way up his arms. I stiffen a realize I'm doing it again and pull my hand away.
"Would you like to sit down and have a drink?" he asks while looking down at me. When did he get so close. I step back feeling like a worm squirming under his gaze. "I would like a glass of water thank you and after we can discuss a few things about your next book, sir." I can see him clench his jaw a little as the smile returns ," Alright well you can go get the manuscript, its on the table by the front door." He points in the direction I have to go and then turns around and walks to which I'm assuming is the kitchen.
After I come back I see him sitting on the couch already wearing black boxed glasses that sits further down on the bridge of his nose. He's reading the paper in his hand and picks up another off the cherry oak wood coffee table. I finally set the books down that I've notice was in my hand the entire time onto the table as well with his manuscript, I sit down and see a very stern look on his face. We begin our discussion. I've noticed as we are talking he doesn't smile once or even crack one joke. He becomes very serious once he starts his work. I like that. I mean I like it purely because I thought he was just some playboy, I've heard all through rumors. I guess it makes sense he is the third best selling author in the world. Maybe I was a little too quick to judge maybe he's nice.
Well maybe I shouldn't jump the gun. Yeah lets
observe a little more first.
