The wind had started to cool down and there was a breeze in the air by the time that Taehyung had managed to calm down. Jungkook now rubbing his back softly while looking up at the sky in order to give Taehyung some space, while still being there of course.
When Jungkook first met Taehyung in the Tattoo parlor he didn't think that the little flirting that he did would actually mean anything and that it was just for a bit of fun. But now, he realised that it was an instant attraction towards the young blonde, and that scared him. But when he felt the other move slightly away from him. He looked down towards him and saw that Taehyung was now looking at him with a curious look in his eyes.
"Thank you for being here Jungkook, but why did you help me? What is in it for you?", Taehyung questioned. Jungkook sighed slightly, not really knowing the reason why himself. The silence that followed was almost deafening, Jungkook trying to form words while Taehyung was overthinking. "Nevermind, thank you for helping though," Taehyung said as he stood up and walked off with a big frown on his face.
Jungkook decides not to follow him, just sits on the bench. Thinking to himself why he cared about the blonde, no matter how much he wracked his mind he couldn't think of a reason why. So as he just sat there Taehyung walked away feeling more insecure in a way than he did earlier.
It was the next day and Taehyung was once again cooped up in his station cleaning his tattoo equipment ready for his first customer to arrive. As he was putting down the tattoo gun a knock interrupted the silence and Yoongi peaked his head through the door. A small box smile formed its way on Taehyung's face and in response to that Yoongi's gummy smile was planted on his face. Yoongi stepped further into the room and shut the door behind him.
Walking over to the younger boy he just put a hand on his shoulder and then moved it up to ruffle his hair. Taehyung just shied away afterwards, shy from the brotherly affection. "Your first client will be here soon so make sure you're ready Tae," he said before he took his leave and went to the front desk since the other worker hadn't arrived yet.
Ten minutes later there was another knock on Taehyung's door, but before he could answer it was pushed open and his customer was walking through the door. Taehyung looked up at the person and nearly groaned when he saw the smug looking Jungkook walk through the door.
As Jungkook sat down Taehyung waddled over to the counters trying to not let Jeongguk talk to him. Bringing over the stencil paper and tattoo gun, Taehyung realised that this was still his job and that he still needed to ask Jungkook what tattoo he wanted.
"So, uh, Jungkook, what tattoo do you want? uh I can come up with something original or you can pick something from the pre-drawn styles in the catalogue," Taehyung shyly mumbled looking at his feet. But Jungkook was full of surprises to Taehyung because not even a minute passed before Jungkook stated that he wanted an original design just for him. So they moved down the room to the table.
"So what do you want, oh and where do you want it?" Taehyung asked while looking at the sketching paper and fiddling with the pencil in his hand. Jungkook had a small smile and pointed to the inside of his elbow, "I want it here and I don't really know I just want it to be a flower with a good meaning" was his reply which stunned Taehyung for a second, not expecting such a good answer.
"What are the colours that you think would describe you the most?", was the first thing that Taehyung asked which in turn stunned Jungkook for a second. The both of them always manage to be surprised by what the other is saying. But nevertheless he answered with "green".
"Ah, it's a you hate it or you love it colour" Taehyung commented already sketching the flower that had come into his head. The rough outline had already started to form into the shape he wanted. Jungkook peaked over at the design and gasped when he saw how good it looked.
"What sort of flower is that, it's really pretty?" Jungkook asked. "It is a dahlia, it has lots of colours but one of the least known and favoured is green and from what I know of you, you are like that flower", Taehyung explained once again putting Jungkook in awe.
The silence consumed them until Taehyung was done with his drawing, holding it up for Jungkook to see, receiving a thumbs up and a smile in reply. So Taehyung got the equipment and put the stencil on the gap assigned before cleaning all the equipment for the second time, you can never be too careful with his thoughts.
With the Tattoo gun being put in and out of Jungkook's arm for the past half an hour and the flower's outline was nearly done. Taehyung realised that he kind of screwed himself over with the idea of trying to not see Jungkook because he decided to actually do a detailed design and Jungkook is now going to have to come back for the flower to be coloured in.
As soon as the outline was finished and bandaged Taehyung ushered Jungkook out of the parlor after booking him an appointment for the next day. He decided to just let his mind relax and by the time that he had managed to wonder home he had fished his keys out his pocket and opened the door.
There was light taps slowly edging towards him and it only became more clearer when a Pomeranian came sprinting round the corner at him and ran around his legs until Taehyung bent down to pick him up. Taehyung walked towards the sofa and sat down pulling Taehyung up to his chest. So the two of them spent the knight cuddled on the sofa ignoring the world.
