As Taehyung went through the turn styles, making sure that his little puppy didn't get caught up, he walked straight up to Jungkook whos back was facing him. He tapped Jungkook's shoulder and the male turned round with a jump like he wasn't expecting Taehyung to be there.

Taehyung started walking again with Jungkook trailing after him. Jungkook then just realised that he had never asked what the name of the puppy was, he had just been calling him puppy this whole time.

"Hey Taehyung, what's your dog called?"

"His name is Yeontan, why?" Taehyung questioned back tilting his head the side. Jungkook's heart felt like it melted at that for some reason. He quickly brushed it off though and tried to give an answer. In the end he couldn't pull an answer out of his mouth and just shrugged before walking off to a stall near them, Taehyung quickly jogging to catch up to him.

The two of them played many stall games and Jungkook had managed to win Taehyung a couple of plushies. They were very happy, smiles being plastered across their faces. Taehyung had his hand tightly gripped on the bottom of Jungkook's sleeve and pulled on it slightly whenever he got excited. Every time he pulled on Jungkook's sleeve the man mentioned always looked down at him and saw the biggest box smile on his face, and that caused him to instinctively give a bunny smile.

It was just simple happiness that the two of them were holding that night. Their laughs echoed around them and the people who were around them could see their joy, and this was only the beginning of their night.

Taehyung had a hold of Jungkook's sleeve and pulled him towards the Ferris wheel in the center of the festival. Jungkook just let himself be dragged along, making sure that he didn't trip over Yeontan who was trotting besides them seemingly as excited as his owner.

When they had managed to get into the one of the carts at the ferris wheel, Taehyung making sure to hold onto Yeontan securely, the two of them couldn't help but adore the view that surrounded them.

Around them the normally dark and plant covered park was lit up by lanterns and stalls and there were people wherever you looked. It was a magical sight that left Jungkook in awe. He had never seen something like this and his eyes held a sparkle in them that was nothing but pure happiness. As they were lowered back down to the ground however that feeling of joy dimmed slightly and he realised that he was back on the ground and had to start walking round again. He just wanted to return to that moment.

He was once again knocked out of his thoughts when there was a tug at his sleeve. He quickly whipped his arm away from the person without thinking and turned round to see a shocked expression covering Taehyung' face, a slight look of hurt also seen in his eyes. Jungkook felt guilt start to swallow him whole so he just stared at Taehyung, trying to think of the right thing to say.

When he had got his thoughts together to apologise to him Taehyung was gone from his sight. He cursed under his breath before quickly walking round and trying to find him again.

After half an hour of searching and when it became obvious that Taehyung didn't want to be found Jungkook slumped down on the closest bench looking down at his hands. He was having such a great night and he had to go and ruin it by flinching, when he knew that Taehyung was there with him. He could kick himself. He knows that it shouldn't be a big deal but he was jsut starting to get Taehyung to warm up to him, and this little thing has caused all of that to go down the drain.

He slowly made his way out of the amusement park and back to his bike. Just as he was about to get on it when he saw some feet standing next to it, shuffling slightly as if to show that they were nervous. Hope suddenly filled him as he shot his head up and saw the one person that he was wanting to see.

And there he was, Taehyung was stood there with his face buried in Yeontan's hair and the shy aura that surrounded him left the already speechless Jungkook even more speechless, if that was even possible. He stood there staring at Taehyung for a minute when the mentioned cleared his throat and shuffled around a bit more, "could you take me home, it would be too far to walk", Taehyung muttered not daring to look Jungkook in the face, instead finding his dog and feet more interesting.

Jungkook didn't answer and just sat down on the bike and started the engine. Not feeling Taehyung get on he turned around and gave him a look that was to say 'are you getting on or what' and just turned back around.

Taehyung put Yeontan back in his carrier and got onto the back of the bike, making sure to hold on tight to Jungkook's jacket and onto Yeontan's carrier. Even though they were driving down the streets they could still feel the awkward atmosphere around them and even though he should be paying attention Jungkook couldn't help but let his thoughts slightly wonder from driving to how he was going to get close to Taehyung again.

Sooner that Jungkook wanted they had gotten to Taehyung's home and the mentioned man said a quick thank you and quickly made his way into the building, not giving a second look to Jungkook. A sigh was heard before the roar of a motorbike filled the streets, slowly getting quieter.

--

Taehyung let go of Yeontan and the dog trotted off to his bed in the corner of the room. He slowly made his way over to the sofa and collapsed himself ontop of it. The one time that he let himself loose and let him try and make a new friend they turn round and act cold to him, never again he promised himself.

Never again.
