Cameron~
"Help!" The soft voice called out. I looked around. No one was here. It sounded so close yet so far. "Find me." It said again.
"Where are you?" I asked.
"Please, hurry!"
"Where are you? I can't help if I don't know where you are!" I was starting to panic.
"Please..." The voice faded slowly. I was stranded in darkness. What did it mean find it? Suddenly, a dark figure appeared before me. "Find me, Cameron. Help me." A soon as it said so, it disappeared. I'm so confused.

"Morning, mom. Dad." I greeted as I jumped down the stairs two at a time.
"Good morning, Ronnie." My mother said, not looking up from the computer.
I groaned. "Mom, you know I hate that nickname. I told you to stop calling me that."
She quirked a brow. "And I told you to clean your room. Anyways, your breakfast is on the counter. You'll have to eat on you way there, you can't be late to school on your first day."
I rolled my eyes. Not that I even wanted to go. Sighing, I grabbed my breakfast and my bag and headed through the door.
On my way to school, I couldn't stop thinking about that weird dream I had last night. There was this.... person. They kept calling for help but they wouldn't tell me where they were. Kinda sucks really. I've been trying to lucid dream for a while now, but it's been ruined by that mysterious someone.
As I neared the school gate, I tossed the remains of my breakfast in the trash can. I never really had a big appetite so that was nothing new.
My new school was small but filled with chattering teenagers. Not really my scene. I was not looking forward to being the new kid.
'Come on, Cameron! You can do this!' I told myself. 'I hope...'
Shaking my head, I stepped through the gates and hoped no one noticed me. I kept my head down as I walked, careful not to attract attention. Unfortunately for me, I bumped into someone. Said someone radiated douche energy so I knew that he wasn't going to let it slide.
"Watch it!" He narrowed his brown eyes at me. "Wait a minute, you're a newbie aren't you?"
As soon as he said so, all eyes were on us. Apparently, this dude was the stereotypical 'popular guy' that could get anyone's attention with the snap of a finger. And because I'm Mr. Misfortune I just so happened to 'offend' him.
"Sorry, dude." I said, trying to move around him. A strong hand gripped my shoulder, stopping me in my tracks. I was face to face with 'Mr. Popular' again. If looks could kill, I'd probably be dead by now.
"Look.... Whatever your name is, I wasn't done talking to you. You don't come to my school and disrespect me." His voice was slightly louder but not exactly shouting. The crowd was silent.
I really didn't wanna deal with this right now. I was already late. Everyone is staring and now I'm hungry because of this stress.
"Ok first of all," I said, keeping my voice normal,"my name is Cameron. Second, since you didn't realize, I was done talking to you. Third, this ain't even your school. And last but not least, I don't know what I did, but I didn't mean it. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm late to class on my first day. I really don't mean to be rude, but please leave me alone."
A series of 'oohs' went up in the crowd. The look on his face was priceless. I did sort of feel bad. I didn't want to come across as rude to anyone.
Apart from that little incident, the rest of the day was a breeze. I was still glad when the last bell rang, signaling the end of school.

I sprawled out on my bed the second I got home. I was exhausted. That's a lie. I just love to sleep. The events of this morning replayed in my mind. I had probably gotten on his bad side. I drifted off shortly after getting the image out of my mind.
I woke up in a forest. At least I thought so. "I'm lucid dreaming again." I said out loud. Out of nowhere, I heard leaves crunching behind me. I turned my head so fast I'm surprised I didn't get whiplash. There was nothing there.
A familiar voice called out. "Cameron?" It asked. Suddenly, the place felt much colder than it was a few seconds ago.
"Y-yes?" I answered. I couldn't hide the tremble in my voice. I was scared.
"I'm here! Walk towards my voice. Help me please."
I did as it said. I kept walking deeper and deeper into the forest. When I felt like I couldn't go any further the voice told me to stop. I looked around and spotted a small shivering figure in a tree. I cautiously walked over and looked up.
"I'm here. You called me?" I called up to them. A rustle was heard then said person jumped down. I was met with a tall, pale and slightly transparent boy. He had pale blue eyes and chestnut coloured hair. He was about 3 inches taller than me.
He sat on the floor. "Cameron..."
I sat beside him. "What's your name? What do you need help with?"
He looked up at me. "Damien. My name is Damien. . ."
