Riot's POV
I pulled my gun away from Roy and got up, my ears pricking up at the sounds of the city coming from afar.
The chilling breeze awakened goosebumps onto my skin,as I took a deep breath, processing the information that I had recently undertaken.
Within all the haze,I was finally awarded a moment of peace, yet the silence that it bore was a warning.I turned away, the haze of the moment almost too good to be true.
Roy was a liar. And I don't like liars.
"Riot, please," Roy begged as he sat up,wincing, placing his hand on his bloody wound,"don't leave me like this."
I turned towards him, gazing at his pleading figure.
Cute.
So different from the ruthless soul that manipulated me,and would continue to do so. Framed as an angel but really a devil in disguise.
Roy gazed into my eyes, attempting to search for an answer that he wanted.
Attempting to look into my mind, the electric feeling only causing me to remember what he did to me.
I pushed him away, staring right back at him this time.Don't make me guilty.
How many more people has he done this to? Treated them the same way,led them to feel sorry for a murderer like him?
He's seduced many. Don't think you will ever be an exception.
I gritted my teeth, remembering the way he deceived me,lured me in too quickly; it made me question how naive I really was.
"R-riot,please,don't just leave me like this, agh," Roy winced, clasping his eyes shut.
"Don't worry Roy,I'm not going to leave you in this state," I stated,my voice softening.
Roy looked up at me,his gaze pouring into mine. His eyes flashed with relief.
He's afraid of dying.
Who isn't.
I lifted my gun up,pointing it right in between his eyes.
"Let me deceive you the same way you did to me," I snarled.
"R-riot-"
I pulled the trigger, watching as his blood splattered across his face, his body falling onto the grass, lifeless.
The bullet had pierced eight through his skill, the fleshy brain below visible.
"Meet your death you fucker," I spat.
I turned around and walked away.
I was tired of trusting anybody. And I was never going to do it again._______________________________________
Location: Periculoso's mansion
Time: 7:23pmLorenzo paced the room,a wine glass in his hand. Opposite him ,leaning against his desk sat Lia, sipping on hers.
"Babe, this is meant to help you,not stress you out," she retorted, placing her glass onto the table and crossing her arms.
Lorenzo's POV:
I completely ignored her.
My mind was plagued with thought.
Riot was missing, and Roy still hadn't submitted his report.Where the fuck is that guy?
I checked my watch, sighing as I looked at the time. It's closing in to half past the hour.Where the hell is he?!
I took a sip from my glass of wine,my grip only intensifying as the minutes went by.
I grabbed my phone and dialed a number.
"Leo. Move into their hideout. I want my girl now.""Understood, sir," he replied, and I ended the call.
Lia rubbed her hands on her legs, sighing.
"Baby, you should loosen up. I've got intel that the heist was complete. That's another two million."
She got up,swinging her empty glass around and pecking my cheek before leaving the room, closing the door behind her.
I sat at my desk, eyeing the money in the open safe beneath it.
I slammed it shut with my leg, eyeing my phone.
"What's taking them so long?" I muttered.
A while later,I got a call.
"Sir,we can't find them. Jade is dead,I'm assuming Roy killed her. They're both gone."
My heart sank, anger igniting a flame within me.
Gone?
No,this plan was too immerse to go wrong.
I gritted my teeth, slamming my hand against the desk.
"Search everywhere or you're dead!" I yelled, throwing my wine glass at the wall, watching as it broke into shards, glistening on the other side of the room.
I grabbed my coat from the hangar, and reached for the gun inside it.
I'm coming for you,Roy. I'm coming for the both of you.
I paced down the stairs, entering the lobby of the left wing. My maids looked at me,bowing as I was presented with the tea I had ordered.
"Leave it in my chambers," I muttered, brushing right past them.
Riot's POV
I ran into the road and hailed a taxi.
I needed to get out of here.
"Where to, ma'am?" He asked, turning around towards me.
He smiled.
I looked up at him,and was met with the same piercing red eyes that I had seen a few hours ago.
Shit.
"Nice to see you again,Riot."
I gritted my teeth, reaching for the door but hearing the car doors lock.
"Let me out," I demanded.
"I don't think I can do that," he retorted, turning the car around and speeding down the road.
"Then die on that thought," I said, wrapping my arms around his neck, watching him writhe in the seat.
He bit my palm, and I yelped, moving my hands backwards as the car began to spin out of control.
I reached for my gun inside my pocket, readying myself for the perfect shot.
He turned the wheel, pulsating the breaks as he regained control of the vehicle.
He turned around, attempting to pull me towards him,and I upturned his fingers, dislocating them as he yelped in pain.
"You like that, huh?" I snarled, leaning back and kicking him in the face, causing his head to slam against the steering wheel as the car sped forwards, slamming into the car in-front of it.
I jolted upwards,on impact, grabbing the two front passenger seats for support.
Roy's man was long gone, blood pooling from his head.
I pressed the unlock button on the car door and opened the door to the passenger seat, making may way out of the car.
A crowd of people had formed around the area,as a panicked mother held her phone in one hand, phoning the police, her children hiding behind her, scared to the brim.
You caused this Riot. You could have gained control of the situation, but you didn't.
The commotion caused a crowd to form.
I like crowds, they're a lot easier to slip through.
