Put them at gunpoint if they don't listen. That's a lesson my father taught me.
But is it right?
Time passed in the car,the silence comforting in a way. I stared out the window,in awe at the greenery that surrounded me,the beauty of it leaving me entranced.
I smiled to myself.
Nature is so simple yet,so perfect.
And a hell of alot better than the rest of the world, plagued with chaos and misery. I wish I could be as free as a bird, able to travel freely without anyone to stop me.
I sighed, leaning my head against the window as I closed my eyes, using my time to imagine what that would be like.
A world where I was free.
A world where I could live.
Roy's gonna try and talk to you. The silence is plaguing him.
"There's not long until we reach the coast," he stated, glancing at me and I turned to look at him, nodding.
See?
"That's great,the sooner I'm on that yacht the safer I am I guess," I responded,shrugging.
To be honest,I have no idea if I'll ever be safe.
My father is powerful. I don't even know half of what he was, ever. He'll find me, somehow.
I can feel it.
There's alot to him,and to your past,Riot.
This will just be a game of cat and mouse, the cycle will continue. I'll keep running,he'll keep looking.
The only way I can stop it is by breaking this circuit of events.
But how?
I'll tell you, when it's time.
Roy coughed,regaining my attention.
"We'll be there in around five minutes."I nodded, turning to look out of the window, mesmerised by the beautiful scenery.
"How big is this yacht of yours?" I asked.
Seriously?
What? Just asking.
You'll find out anyway.
"It's pretty big. Not the biggest, but not the smallest either. You stolen a yacht before?"
He laughed, seeing a small smile creep onto my face.
"You'd be surprised to know that I actually have", I admitted.
"Oh really?" He questioned, "How'd you do it?"
"You know, just had some things and,um,got the keys and took it," I formidably stated.
He glanced at me with a sarcastic expression of amazement on his face.
"That's such a detailed explanation. Honestly, you couldn't have done better than that."
I decided to continue the sarcastic streak, and responded humourously.
"Why thank you, be careful or I'll steal yours."
"I would-we're here."
He pulled the car into a parking lot,as I reached for my mask and put it on.
Roy simply turned off the ignition once we were in a spot and turned to me.
"Okay,Riot. Follow me to the yacht. Don't speak to anyone and just act normal."
I responded coyly, looking into his eyes,"what's normal Roy?", I questioned.
