I....was speechless. I was so surprised that my jaw almost hit the floor. The hell? Does he seriously believe that Abigail tried to kill herself?! And i don't deny that Abigail's done some crazy stuff in the past just to get attention but being suspicious right away is too much. Yes, she pretended to be sick in the past! yes she tried to drown herself but......

......huh.... It's totally understandable why he came to that conclusion. Even I was starting to get suspicious of her. Ugh why the hell so I have to clean all her mess? Despite my annoyance, I gulped my anger just for the sake of improving my future.

" I admit. I am guilty for doing a couple....bad plots to get your attention in the past..."

" A couple?"

"A-a few..."

" N-nevertheless! This time, that was not the case. I did my best to maintain a good status and not cause ruckus."

Just like how Sabelian didn't feel anything for me,I had no affection towards him. Yes I was attracted to his handsomeness but his personality ruined it.

I took a moment to think and chose my words carefully,

"Then explain to me,. If I truly wanted to use this opportunity to gather your attention, would I have not accused one of the maids of poisoning me immediately?"

I'm 100% sure that the real Abigail would've done that. She would've chosen a pretty maid and kill her entire family for this false claim.

Sabelian didn't say anything. He was still doubtful. The distrust between us didn't diminish at all.
