Forbidden love

A fragment of life.

My phone isn't working. And my first one was saved in there. So I'm gonna attempt to write this from memory.  Hope you enjoy. Little warning there is a descripted detail of being eaten soooo like if you no like. No read.

The cold wind blew harshly making it harder for the brunette to walk up the hill. His legs were numb and cold, his lungs burned with every breath but he kept walking. Nearing the top of the hill lost his grip causing him to fall and slam into a tree.

He groaned out in pain squeezing his eyes shut. Trying to pull himself up the wind blew him back down. Grabbing onto the side of the tree for support he dragged himself up. Regaining his balance Tanjiro continued to walk up the hill the sight of a small cabin appearing before him. 

Letting out a long and tired sigh Tanjiro walked up to the cottage opening the door and stepping inside. A small head popped from by the kitchen door to show an exited Shigeru. "Big brother!" He said running over to the older. 

Tanjiro gave him a warm smile patting his head. "Hey Shigeru." Hanako's and Takeo's head appeared from the door way before Hanako ran over to him. "Oni-Chan. Welcome home!" She said letting out an excited squeal. 

Letting out an airy laugh he pat her head as well. "Hey you guys. Sorry I'm late. The weather outside is quite bad." He responded walking over to the kitchen where Nezuko now stood with their mother. "That's quite alright dear. I'm just glad your back safely."

His mother spoke coming over and wiping the snow from his long hair. He gave her a smile before turning to Takeo. "Did you cut the fire wood?" Takeo nodded before responding sarcastically although he was secretly excited his older brother was home safely. "Obviously." 

Tanjiro laughed at this and Nezuko followed. "You should be nicer to Oni-Chan." Nezuko replied walking over to Tanjiro. "Welcome home. Dinners almost ready. But Rokuta is already in bed." The older nodded a gentle smile on his face. 

Their mother walked back into the kitchen with Nezuko while Tanjiro and the others played in the living room. "Tanjiro dear. Go wash up please." His mother called to him. "Yes ma'am." He responded patting Shigeru on the head before walking into the bathroom. 

After taking a shower he went into his bedroom drying his hair. "Tanjiro! Dinner Time!" His mom yelled from the kitchen. Laying the towel down Tanjiro walked into the dinning area. "Thanks for the food!" Everyone called. 

When dinner was over Tanjiro did the dishes while Nezuko and his mom put the others to bed. Finishing the dishes he said good night to his mother before going and laying down.

Soon enough Tanjiro was consumed by sleep. His sleep was cut short though when a long scream echoed through the small cottage. Tanjiro shot up looking around. A pungent smell of blood greeted his senses. 

Getting up Tanjiro followed the smell into the living room to see his mother on the wall mangled. Blood oozing from her body. Tanjiro looked mortified. His mother eyes were wide. Pieces of her flesh were scattered around the room. The door had been thrown off it's hinges. 

A loud scream came from behind him. Tanjiro turned around to see his siblings standing there absolutely terrified. "M-mommy..." Hanako whispered looking at her mothers limp figure. The demon lunged forward grabbing Hanako before Tanjiro could pull her out of the way. 

It tore it's claws into Hanako's side ripping her skin apart. A scream escaped her lips just before her body went lifeless in the demons arms. She was thrown across the room against her mother. Gathering the courage to Tanjiro lead the his family to the door only to be pulled back and thrown. 

After throwing Tanjiro it grabbed Takeo and Shigeru slicing through their skin. Blood splattered everywhere. The two brothers fell to the floor gasping for what little life they had left. Nezuko grabbed Rokuta and ran out the door. Her freedom didn't last long as long nails dug into her skin leaving the snow stained red.

Rokuta and Nezuko laid there dying as the demon went back inside and grabbed Tanjiro slinging him over his shoulder. "I'll leave you to die there." He stated before disapearing with Tanjiro into the night.
