Nezuko had stayed at Mt. Sagiri for 2 years training. Whenever her and Urokodaki would go into town she would ask people if they had heard from her brother but no one ever had any idea where he was. She knew he might be dead but she honestly didn't wanna think like that.

The thought always clouded her mind but she didn't let it hurt her training. She honed her skills as well as she could training constantly. As the only known survivor of the Kamado family it was her duty to take care of everything. When final selection rolled around she gathered her things and go ready to set out.

"Good luck Nezuko." Urokodaki told her patting her head." She smiled brightly at him before heading off down the mountain. Nezuko had to travel about two days to get to the final selection exam area. There were wisteria flowers everywhere. Nezuko smiled at the flowers. It was all so pretty.

"Welcome." Two feminine voices greeted from the front. There were two people at the front. They both appeared female. One had white hair and the other had black.

"This is the area for the final selection exams. These wisteria flowers bloom year round holding demons that have been captured live by demon slayers. The wisteria flowers stop here. Past the wisteria are hungry demons. Your task is to survive seven days beyond the protection of the wisteria flowers."

The white haired one spoke. "If you manage to survive these seven days you'll become a demon slayer. We hope to see you again in seven days." Nezuko clutched the handle of her katana. This was going to be a very long week.

7 days later. (I'm sorry but that'd take to long.)

Nezuko body ached. There had been more demons in there than she had thought but she signed up for this. Walking back to where they had started the exams she only saw 3 other people there. A black haired girl who looked clean for the most part. There was a boy with a short mohawk and scars. A yellow haired boy was mumbling about dying soon which made Nezuko frown.

"Welcome back everyone." The same two stood in front of everyone the black one speaking. "We're glad to see you have made it back safe." The blacked haired boy just growled. "Yeah whatever! When do I get my sword?"

The two didn't flinch at his words. "In a moment you will be able to select the ore to your sword. It will take 10 to 15 days to forge your swords. Until then." The white haired clapped her hands. Crows flew down and landed on them. Nezuko was confused at this but didn't question it.

Scar boy slapped his crow off. "I don't care about some stupid crow I just want my sword!" He yelled pulling the white haired girl hair. Nezuko ran over and grabbed his arm. "Let her go." She stated firmly. He only rolled his eyes. "Or what."

Nezuko thought for a second before speaking again. "Or I'll break you arm." A scoffed left his mouth. "I'd like to see you try." Squeezing arm a small crack echoed. He pulled his arm away clutching it.

"You two done talking?" Nezuko looked up at the black haired child. "If you would please chose the ores that your sword will be crafted with." Everyone waked up to the table. Nezuko didn't know which one to pick.

Standing there for a moment one seem to stand out to her so she grabbed that one. After receiving everything else she need Nezuko headed home. When she finally arrived back Urokodaki congratulated her. "Good job Nezuko." Nezuko smiled at him.

10 days later.

Nezuko was outside picking flowers when she saw a man walking towards the cottage. She got up and walked up to him. "Can I help you?" She asked him putting her hands behind her back. He nodded before speaking.

"I'm here to deliver Nezuko Kamado's sword to her." Nezuko smiled. "That's me." The man nodded and continued walking. Nezuko was confused but welcomed him inside. "This is your colored changing sword." He said handing Nezuko her sword. "It changes color for the user." Nezuko listened to his explanation before drawing her sword.

After a moment the sword turned pink. It surprised Nezuko. "What does it mean?" She questioned looking at Urokodaki. "It means you have a loving personality. There isn't a lot behind that color but it's usually because of personality." Nezkuo nodded sheathing the sword. Waving goodbye to the man her and Urokodaki stood outside a moment.

That night Nezuko prayed as she did every night. Her prayers would always wander between different things. It was usually about her brother though. Finishing her prayers Nezuko went and laid down allowing sleep to consume her.

Urokodaki was sitting in the living room worry running through is mind. He was happy to see that Nezuko had been able to survive the final selection. Although there would be many more challenges for her he hoped that for now she would be okay. She was strong. He knew this but he couldn't help but worry for her. Praying for a moment Urokodaki sighed.

In the morning Nezuko got ready before heading outside. "Be careful." He stated placing his hands on her shoulders. Nezuko smiled brightly. "I will." She stated cheerfully. Urokodaki smiled from behind his mask. "I hope you find your elder brother. And best of luck." She nodded walking to the other direction. "Thanks for everything Urokodaki." She called waving to him.

He nodded and waved back. With that Nezuko was off.
