Hey y'all- so uh sorry for the mental break down last chapter :D (not the a/n) it's just lately I've been getting mentally abused a lot so sorry for taking my anger out on you guys! I hope you guys enjoy this chapter! :))) feel free to comment typos I don't catch myself! Criticism is highly appreciated! ❤️ also, I just wanted to say I finally came out to my mother... it went well ! ! ! :)

3rd person:

Y/n's eyelids fluttered before opening to see the sunlight seeping through her window. She found herself in an unfamiliar room on a bed, which was a bit strange not being a futon. It felt higher off the ground and her back felt less stiff. She rubbed her eyes so she could adjust to the beams of light, a yawn following shortly. She leaned up and rested her weight onto her elbows, taking a better look at her surroundings.

"What happened..." she mumbled, wondering how else she could've ended up in the room. Last she remembered she was about to go chat with Kocho-sama and Tomioka-San. Yes, that's correct. So, how did she get to where she was?

She slipped out from under the covers planting her heels on the wooden boards. Glancing down at her bare feet, she noticed her changed clothes. The outfit she wore now was similar to Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu's, but with a knee high skirt. White ankle-high socks were placed on the end of the bed. She stared at the ground for a while before the realization hit her. Her cheeks flushed a pink, 'who the hell changed me...'

First person (Y/n)

I opened the sliding door of my room and peeked my head out to find Shinobu almost forcefully pushing Giyu out of her estate. My expression resorted to a confused face as Shinobu caught awareness of me being awake. She turned her head to see me holding onto the door.

"Ah, Y/n! Glad to see you awake!" she called. Shinobu then harshly gripped onto Giyu's wrist and began dragging him against his will. A bead of sweat dripped from my forehead.

"How are you feeling?" Giyu softly spoke, yanking his hand from Shinobu's grasp. "I feel great," I responded, "but what the hell happened?"

"Well," Shinobu chimed in, "you seemed to have passed out! We- I mean, I have no idea what could be the cause of it!" she answered with a throat clearing. Giyu sighed.

My eyes turned from Shinobu to Giyu's resting face, eyes directed to the floor. "Mind if I ask a question?"

"Of course, Y/n! Go ahead!" Shinobu smiled.

"Who changed me?"

"..."

"..."

"...?"

"I did, why?" She answered. My flushed gaze softened, "just wondering."

"..."

"...?"

"Well-" "well-"

"Oh, sorry. You go."

"No no, you!"

"..."

"..."

"You know what, I think I'm going to get some rest. Goodnight."

"But, Y/n! It's 2pm!" Shinobu called, watching as I walked away.

"Wake me up in time for dinner please."

"I heard you passed out, are you alright?" Tanjiro turned his head with shrimp tempura stuffing his cheeks. We sat in the estate's outdoor garden, butterfly's surrounding us.

"I feel fine, have no idea what caused it though," I spoke whilst sipping the broth from my udon with one hand, twiddling chopsticks in the other. I continued, "I'm surprised you're out of bed already. You fought hard against Ru-..."

"Y/n?"

I stared solemnly at my dropped chopsticks which lay in my lap. My hand still being in the air, I rested it on the table to grab a sip of water. An overwhelming feeling of sadness seeped into my body, affecting my posture to a slouch. Everything seemed muffled and blurry. I could see Tanjiro talking, but it sounded like I was underwater. My head ached, ringing echoing through my ears. I rubbed my temples, "may I... be excused?"

"Of course." Tanjiro worriedly smiled. I attempted to stand up, but ended up losing my balance, almost landing head first into the shallow coy pond. If it wasn't for Tanjiro's reflexes, I would've been soaked. But, the position we ended up in was a tad... awkward.

Tanjiro's strong hands held onto my waist, my back pressed against his chest. "You're worrying me, I hope you don't mind that I'm going to take you to Kocho-sama's."

I nodded with droopy eyes, yet felt daggers stare at my waist. I looked around, only to find Giyu adjusting his haori, eyes stared at the wooden ground of the estate. He stood inside the hallway, the open windows radiating light on his skin. I looked at Tanjiro who was looking at my face.

Odd... I thought.

I'm so sorry that this came out late. I couldn't debate whether I wanted to make it a longer chapter or not :(. Apologies. I took a lot of time contemplating with what I wanted to do with the story, and I've come up with some ideas! I can't wait to write more for you all! The Giyu + Y/n situation is taking some time to get started, but it'll get more deeply in there by the time of chapter 20 <3!!!
