We encountered several Burns along the way. Silica saw her dead dog who Mathias cut its neck. Melody saw her father that I had to chop to bits. Mathias saw his best friend that Silica had to shot in the head. We were all getting uneasy with all of the Burns. They seemed to be haunting us. We soon found a spot under a tree with dead leaves that we took a lunch break. I slowly ate my turkey sandwich as discussion rained on.
"We are all level 20..." Mathias said to all of us.
"Yeah...but is it good enough? Jack was the same level as us and he ended up..." Melody said hugging her knees.
"I know, but it seems good to me..." said a boy I haven't really heard talk much. He was tanned and young, around 12. He was always quiet and I beielve his name was Leok.
"Well...lets just hurry and beat this damn boss..." Silica said grabbing my hand. I squeezed hers and we kept eating in silence.
Soon we were done and were packing up when we heard the siren again. We braced ourselves for zombies when boxes started popping out of the ground. I ran to the nearest one and grinned. It was a supply drop. I than looked at the box mortified at the label, The Burn Serum, Only use if player is infected with The Burns.
