Ion kept talking, "The Burns make a player go into a hallucinationol state and think they see things they don't really. When multiple players are with the Burns see something at the same time, it is because of the influence effect, making everyone see the same thing." I just stared at her, feeling like I just got stabbed in the chest. How could I know if anything was real, how could I know if Eban was real?! What if the serum was even real?! Mathias got up. Everyone looked at him and he said, "How did we get rid of the Burns?" Ion simply smirked and said in a calm voice, "To either obtain the serum it die to the cleaner." The cleaner...that must be the man on the flying horse... Ion continued, "Everyday with the Burns results in more craziness and insanity. The next supply drop is on an hour so good look finding a serum." She clapped and than diapered from exisitance.
An hour lasts a long time. Everyone was antsy about getting a serum ASAP. Eban was trying to talk to me, but I didn't want to talk to someone who could have been fake. I just wanted to wait. And so I did until we heard the next siren.
