chapter 21

Dahyun sighed as she finished changing into her silk white pajamas. Then sitting in her bed after setting her alarm on her phone.

She was in her dark room. So dark that when you go to the corner you wont be seen. Since only the moonlight creeping inside her windows was only the source of light she wanted at night.

She glanced to the whimpering pup trying to climb unto the bed but cant due to its short legs.

Without any words said, dahyun eventually picked up the puppy and put him in the bed.

Ahri snuggled to dahyuns side when dahyun fixed her pillows and finally lied down facing the ceiling with both of her hands on her stomach.

Dahyun glanced at the bottle on her bedside table. Deciding wether to take them or not.

But it was an exhausting day , she thinks that, tiredness would be able to help her to sleep tonight. A smile crept its way to dahyuns mouth remembering how she stabbed that bastard and maybe traumatized his child. She'll be alright sleeping without those sleeping pills today.

Finally closing her eyes, trying to ease and empty her mind and stopping herself reaching to the pills.

Her mind eventually wandered to her brother's abrupt call earlier today. Dahyun knew he wasnt joking, and who he was implying to. And no, Dahyun was not worried. She would never be worried about her brother. She would let him be captured by his enemies for all she care.

No, she is not being an asshole of a sister.

She was not worried cause she knows he was capable of protecting himself. Dahyuns 100% percent sure he let them capture him. Sure, he maybe an idiot and maybe he fucked up a couple of times but he is not weak. He can handle being captured by himself.

And of course dahyun we'll call for back up whenever he sends a signal. But she'll never be the one rescuing him if it gone to a point of he has to be rescued from her.

Maybe its for the reason that she doesnt want to be seen rescuing her older brother making him seem weaker than her to others. Ruining his precious reputation. If he ever even had one. Or maybe she just doesnt want to face her.

Just even the thought of her, makes her want to stab someone. It irritates her how she is even alive and breathing.

Speaking of irritating, another enemy decided to join dahyun's blacklist. Now that they have a lead on Diego, a new asshole decides to intervene.

Sleeping in peace without the pills would be harder than she thought. Specially now that shes getting more and more heated and irritated at thinking about what happened today.

Attempting again to sleep in peace, she looked beside her and see a well rested pup snuggling beside her. She turned to her left to face the peaceful puppy.

Dahyun sighed one more time and lets her mind free from angering and provoking thoughts.

She found herself listening to the midnight's breeze and the silent rustling of her curtains.

She was about to finally sleep when a knock came from her door.

Dahyun groaned in annoyance but still went to open and face who disturbed her.

"Sorry to disturb you unnie but jeongyeon saw movement in our cctv's. It looks like we're sorrounded" Chaeyoung stated.

"Get the team ready, I'll be there in 5" Chaeyoung nodded and ran to the team.

Dahyun quickly dressed and pulled one of her drawers and type in her password that opens a secret cabinet full of her weapons.

She picked up her famous white pistol then went downstairs to their meeting room only to be greeted with her team ready.
