right now, samantha is on her way to the mall to meet up with the girls to have a girls day. she has been super happy with everything in her life as of right now. she is right where she wants to be in her life. she smiles at those thoughts and parks her car in the parking lot of the mall. she quickly grabs her purse and gets out of her car, locking it as she walks into the mall. she spots christina and gabbie at the entrance of the mall. she smiles and greets her best friends with a hug. they walk into the mall and walk straight to starbucks.
as they wait in the line, samantha checks her phone to see if any of the boys have texted her. she furrows her eyebrows in confusion when she sees that none of them have. she found it extremely odd but brushed it off and moved up in the line. she puts her phone in her back pocket and starts to wonder on what they could possibly be doing right now. she sighs as she stepped up to the register and ordered her drink.

it has been a couple hours and the girls left the mall and drove over to the sprouse household. samantha sets her shopping bags on the floor, as gabbie and christina head up to her room. samantha walking into the kitchen to grab three water bottles and a bag of chips, when she noticed that nate was sitting on a stool by the island. samantha was confused and set the stuff down. she walks over to him and taps him on the shoulder. nate flinches and jumps a little. then he sighs in relief when he sees that it's samantha.
"are you okay?" she asked her boyfriend as she sat next to him.
nate looks at her and shakes his head no. he clears his throat and turns his entire body towards her.
"sam. please don't be mad at me but i want to break up." he told her.
no words came out of samantha's mouth. the expression on her face said it all. she was so confused. nate could tell and grabbed her hands. he looked at her in her eyes.
"sammy. i promise you that it has nothing to do with you at all." he tells her.
"thats what they all say, nathan. if its because me and christian have gotten close. i am so sorry. we just happened to get close because i am always hanging out with daniel and zach." she says.
"sammy. listen to me. it is not your fault. please just listen to what i am about to say." he tells her.
samantha looks at him and sighs.
"sammy. i have cancer. they told me that i had three months to live." he told her.
samantha pulled him into a hug and started crying.
"please don't leave me nate. please please please." she says, crying.
"i'm always gonna be in your heart sammy." he told her.
they pulled away and they looked at each other. samantha sniffles and cries even more. nate wipes her tears. he looks at her and kisses her on the forehead.
"i'll love you forever and always sammy wammy." he said.
"i love you nathan daniel." she said and watched as he left her house.
