Don't Make Him Mad

*Kate's Pov*

After daddy hit me, I have been kinda scared of him...every time he says my name I jump a little, or when he walks in the same room as me I quickly walk out.

He notices that I'm scared of him, he tries to talk to me, but when I try to talk back I always choke. I am afraid I might get him mad again.

*purple Guy Pov*

She is scared of me...I don't like that, but yet at the same time I love it...
I like having that feeling of someone being scared of me, but with Kate its different.

I was really shocked that she talked back to me. I also was furious...
The moment I hit her, i felt glad because I knew she learned her lesson...

But I forgot how fragile and delicate she was, the moment I hit her, her body was on the ground. Her cheek already bright red..

I wave of guilt hit me, I never had that feeling before...seeing her on the ground crying, hurt me more then I hurt her...

I picked her up and wrapped her in my arms.. She started to cry louder..

But later that night, she didn't say anything to me...she didn't even look at me. When we got home she walked in her room and closed the door.

"You are not staying in there for weeks like last time, young lady!!" I shouted

She didn't realize this, but the more she didn't talk to me and the more she ignore me, got me even more mad, and she doesn't want me to repeat what I did last time she got me mad..

I walked in the kitchen and started to make dinner to take things off my mind.

I grabbed the knife and started to cut vegetables..

I tried and tried to take my mind off of Kate, but I couldn't..I kept having back flashes of her talking back to me, then she goes in her room to lock me out!! I bite my tongue hard, trying to stop myself from doing something I'll regret..

I tried to slow down my breathing.

"Just forces on dinner.."I told myself

When i look at the vegetables, I saw knife marks all over the counter...

"I have to control my anger..."I muttered.

*Kate's Pov*

I was in my room thinking.. I love my daddy so much, but I'm scared now... He won't hurt me any more right? I really hope not...

I sighed and walked over to my bed to pick up my teddy bear, when I reached over I stopped and looked at my hands...

Oh my god...they are purple!!!! I stared at my hands for a long time...I was hyperventilating... They were a light shaded purple, and covered every little bit of my hands...it looked like it was growing up my arms. Suddenly I felt a horrible pain shoot through my body.. I grabbed my stomach and fell on the floor..
No, not again...I don't want to deal with the pain!!!

It didn't stop only got worse, I couldn't stop the words that came out of my mouth.

"DADDY!!" I screamed.

"DADDY HELP ME!!"

I hear him run up the steps to my door.. He tried to open the door but it was locked..

"Kate sweetie?!? Open the door for Daddy!!" He yelled as he pounded on the door..

I wanted to open the door, but I couldn't move..moment hurts to much right now.. I couldn't even talk, my body wasn't listening to me... My body started to twitch uncontrollable..only little gasp and whimpers could escape my lips..

The pounding on my door got more aggressive and louder...

"Kate daddy is coming, don't worry!"

Why is this happening.....I forgot to take my pills..so much has happened I forgot!!!

I heard the door break open and saw my daddy come flying at me..
He wrapped me in his arms. He put me in his lap, with one arm under my head and the other under my legs..
He started to rock back and forth..my body still twitching...

" I know it hurts, just breath.." He whispered...

"It's okay daddy is with you.."

Tears escape my eyes, it hurts so much..

I felt daddy pick up my purple hand and saw him stare at it..

I suddenly saw a smile grow on his face...

"Such a light shade of purple, it's beautiful.." He whispered...

I felt my eyes get heavy, I tried to keep them open to watch my daddy.

"Sleep sweetie, the pain will stop.. Daddy is proud of you.." He said as he kissed my forehead.

I let my heavy eyes close and fell asleep...
