I Told You I Would Be Back

*Kates Pov*

"Hey come on, I don't have all day!!" Mike yelled..

He was in my room trying to get me up for school. Everyday he has to go though this, it's really hard to get me up in the morning.. That started to happen when I first started school..

I pulled the blankets up to my face, trying to block Mike out.

"No, I am not dealing with this today!" He giggled..

He pulled off my blankets, but with a lot of force that I fell off the bed..

Mike started to laugh, while I rub my head..

"That got you up!!" He smirked

"Jerk" I muttered

"You can call me all the names you want after you get ready! We are late and we have that huge math test today, and I last time I saw your grades you weren't doing so well!"

I got up and started to walk to the bathroom.. Ignoring every thing Mike just said. A shower would be nice right now, but that would take to long.. I closed the door behind me to get dress..

"Hey, Kate?" I heard Mike say behind the door

"Yea?"

"Please hurry up I want to give you something..."

Mike sounded nervous.. Which made me curious..

"Okay!!"

I hurried up and got dress and put makeup on..

When I opened the door I saw Mike sitting on my bed holding a little red box...

Once he saw me he smiled, but you could tell he look nervous then ever...
He walked up to me and handed me the box..

"I got you something...for valentine's Day." Mike muttered..

I looked at the little box, that now was in my hands and open it...

It was a golden necklace...with a small teddy bear on it cover in little diamonds..

My hand went over my mouth..

"Thank you mike so much.." I said while giving him a hug..

"Yea I knew you were going to like it, since you favorite color is gold and you said you loved bears, because of Freddy.." He stuttered..

"Mike is beautiful!! I'm never going to take it off!!"

Mike started to blush, to the point where his whole face look like it was on fire..

I giggled to see him like that. I put the necklace on and went to the mirror to see how it looked on me..

"It looks great on you!" Mike stuttered again..

"Yea it does!!"

There was a long pause, Mike kept starring at me, it look like he had something on his mind.

"Kate I have to tell you something.."

"What is it?"

"I been wanting to tell yo-" Mike was suddenly interrupted by his mother

"Kate come down here! Something happened to your father!!" Mike's Mother yelled from down stairs..

Me and Mike took off down the stairs

"What!! What happen!!" I screamed..

Please tell me daddy isn't dead. Mike's mother and father where watching the news on the T.V. Mike's father turned it up for me to hear..

"Man escaped the insane asylum, authorities are looking for the man, but they have no luck so far.. Already three dead and the man has been out for a day!! Please if you see anything out of the ordinary call the police!! We need to put this mad man away!"

Mike turned off the t.v.
Everything was quiet.. Mike looked at me.. I couldn't help but let tears fall from my eyes.. Daddy was back.. and he was out for me..

Mike rushed towards me and hugged me, he didn't let go.

"It's okay, please don't cry, I promise I won't let him get to you!!" Mike whispered in my ear..

I couldn't move, all I could do was think..Daddy wants me back...and he isn't going to stop killing people till he gets me.. What if he kills Mike and his family?! It would be all my fault!

But a little part of me wanted him back, I wanted to hug him, I wanted to see him again, I want to never let him go again.. But that was the demon part of me, that wanted that..

I'm not a little girl anymore, I have to do something about this..

"Mike, he is coming for me." I cried..

"I won't let him, I promise!"

I was still in Mike's arms... I liked being in his arms.. It was warm and cozy, I could sleep like this..

"Maybe you kids shouldn't go to school today..." Mikes father suggested

"Yea good idea." Mike replied..

Mike started to walk me back to my room..once we got there he close the door behind him..

"Kate I'm so sorry to hear about th-"
He stopped talking and started to stare at my bed..

I turned around to see what he was starring at..

It was my old teddy bear that daddy gave to me and I would always go to sleep with it , siting on my bed..
I haven't seen that thing ever since daddy was token away from me..

"How did that get here?" I asked Mike..

I walk over to it and picked it up.. It had a little note in its hands..

"There is a note!" I shouted to Mike.

Mike walked over to me and sat beside me..

I open the note...

"Hello sweetheart, it's been so long. You have grown up into a beautiful girl! But sadly your still making poor choices...I heard that you have a new family! Now that's a problem...I am your ONLY family, and now I have to get ride of your FAKE family, in order to get you back.. Oh, and I can see you trying to hide your stunning purple skin, don't sweetheart, daddy wants to see it!! I will be with you soon. Daddy misses you!! Please don't make daddy any more mad...I told you I would come back for you!"

My heart stopped and my eyes got wide.. How dose he know where I live?!

"How does he know where I live?!" I cried

Mike's eyes widen...

"It's okay!! We can deal with this!!"

Mike look determined to keep me safe, but will it be enough to stop my father?
