Eclipse

Chapter II

(This is a few years later and after a practice match with Shiratorizawa)

Tsukishima can't stop staring at Hinata in the shower room. The boy seemed to light up the room just by standing there, when the small boy took off his shirt the room felt warmer. Tsukishima couldn't understand it at all.

"Hey Tsuki! The rest of us are gonna go to the hotel room for the night! Don't forget your headphones in the cubby!" Yamaguchi shouts as he leaves the showers. It was then just Hinata and Tsukishima in the shower room. The tall male hears the shower turn on as Hinata steps in. On the other side of the wall, Hinata sighs, closing his eyes. The ginger can now see the entire solar system while his eyes are closed. He starts monitoring the planets, looking at all of them, a storm starts raging on Jupiter, larger than any other and Hinata tries to figure out why.

"Well if the storm is on Jupiter.. It could be increased winds.. Is the gravitational belt off..? Is it because of my heightened anxiety for this?" He mumbles under his breath. Hinata opens his eyes and stares at the shower wall, taking deep breaths as he turns up the heat. His pale skin starting to turn red from the water.

"My god shrimpy how hot do you have the water?!" Tsukishima yells at Hinata.

"It's not even that hot Tsukishima. I can barely feel anything." The shorter male says in a more docile and sophisticated tone than he usually uses, as he was trying to figure out the issue with Jupiter. Tsukishima stays quiet for a few moments, shocked by the way Hinata spoke.

"When did you start speaking like that shrimpy?" The blond asks.

"Speaking like what?" Hinata asks, still trying to breathe easy and calm down for the sake of fixing the issue.

"Like your actually smart, dumbass." Tsukishima insults.

"You know I'm not as dumb as you say I am. I just always have a lot on my mind." Hinata says, starting to wash his hair.

"Oh yea? Like what? What could you possibly think about with your 1 brain cell." Tsukishima teases.

"I'm... Looking for someone you could say." Hinata says, washing the shampoo out of his hair. Tsukishima scoffs as he gets into the shower stall next to Hinata. The ginger turns off the water to his shower, stepping out to get dressed.

"I never expected you'd actually be able to be calm you dumb shrimp." Tsukishima says.

"I guess you just don't really know me then." Hinata responds, pulling his shorts up as the towel lays lazily on his head.

"How could I not know you? We're literally together almost everyday." Tsukishima scoffs.

"It's possible. I have a lot of secrets you know." Hinata says, finally pulling his shirt on.

"Oh yea is that right? Then tell me one you won't." Tsukishima eggs on. Hinata takes a breath, trying not to lose his cool and puts his regular bright smile on again.

"Secrets stay secret for a reason Tsukishima, you know that right?" Hinata says, leaving the shower room to catch up with everyone else. Tsukishima is left washing his hair and thinking to himself. 'What the hell is that shrimp hiding.. Sure everyone has secrets but damn.. Kinda reminds me of Yō... I promise my love I will find you..' He thinks. Tsukishima steps out of the shower and gets dressed, looking at himself in the mirror.

"Didn't the fates say we would meet around this time..? I look like I did when I saw myself in fates chambers.. Maybe I will soon." Tsukishima says to himself, drying the rest of his hair and walking out of the shower rooms, switching off the lights. Once Tsukishima walked into the hotel lobby he saw everyone sitting in the common area. It was almost midnight so there was barely anyone in the lobby at the time. What surprised everyone the most was that Hinata was being fairly calm. He still had his bright smile and when someone asked him something he responded happily, but if nobody was talking to him, he was staring off into space or closing his eyes.

"What's up with shrimpy?" Tsukishima asks.

"Awwww do you care for him Tsukiiiiii" Tanaka teases.

"No he just looks dumb sitting there all high and mighty." Tsukishima scoffs.

"I actually don't know what's going on with Hinata. He's been this way all day." Suga says.

"SHŌŌŌYŌŌŌŌ!!!!" Noya shouts as he starts shaking Hinata.

"WHAT IN ALL OF THE FATES!? OH! NOYA-SAAANNNN!" Hinata shouts back, surprised. Tsukishima stares at Hinata for what he says, nobody thinks anything of it, everyone just thought that Hinata was learning about a new religion or something else. Except for Tsukishima who is now curious about why Hinata knows about the fates.

"SHŌYŌ! What are you thinkin about?" Noya asks.

"Oh it's nothing Noya-senpai! I was just wondering how I can improve against Ushiwaka!" Hinata says happily, with the same, bright, warm smile he always has. Everyone laughs at the little tangerines' excitement to improve and Tsukishima just walks off to a private area.

"Tsuki! Where are you headed off to?" Yamaguchi asks, following Tsukishima like a lost puppy.

"I just need to think a bit, Yams. Also those idiots were getting too loud." Tsukishima says, finding a small alcove as Yamaguchi walks back to the common room with everyone else. Tsukishima sits down in the alcove, bringing his knees to his chest, he closes his eyes and then sees the earth and stars, all in motion. Tsukishima notices a new star forming in the vast majority of other stars, he watches as the gasses finally all combine together and spark slightly as the new star is now alive in the atmosphere. Tsukishima smiles as the new bright red star is floating along and is placed near Venus. Tsukishima watches as all the stars float peacefully in the universe, as he remains as calm as possible so nothing is disturbed. When Tsukishima opens his eyes, it's because everyone starts walking to the rooms they were assigned to in groups of 4.

"Hey Tsuki, come on we gotta go to sleep now, we're leaving early in the morning." Yamaguchi says, tapping Tsukishima's shoulder. Tsukishima nods, climbing out of the alcove and walking to the room he was assigned to with Yamaguchi.

"Do you know who we're gonna be rooming with?" Tsukishima asks. Yamaguchi shakes his head no. They get to the door and hear nothing inside so they assume whosevers going to be sleeping with them isn't there yet. When Yamaguchi opens the door they both see something they never expected. Hinata and Kageyama are in the room as their roommates, Tsukishima rolls his eyes before noticing that Kageyama is almost asleep already and Hinata is just looking out the window at the moon.

"Oh hey Hinata, guess we're sharing a room with you 2." Yamaguchi says, Hinata jumps a bit and turns around to see Tsukishima and Yamaguchi.
