Eclipse

Chapter III

"Oh ok then. I'm not tired but I didn't wanna wake Bakayama." Hinata whispers.

"Never expected that from you." Tsukishima snorts.

"Tsuki be nice! He was being courteous." Yamaguchi says.

"Urusai Yamaguchi." Tsukishima grumbles.

"Gomen Tsuki.." Yamaguchi mumbles as they walk into the room with the sleeping Kageyama and unnaturally quiet Hinata. Hinata goes back to looking out the window as Tsukishima and Yamaguchi look for the hotel provided pajamas.

"Hey Hinata? Where are the pajamas? We can't find them in the closet." Yamaguchi asks.

"Oh they're on the bed over there." Hinata says, pointing to the bed on the other side of the room. Yamaguchi nods and that's when Tsukishima realizes something.

"Wait.. there's only 2 beds.. And the king already has taken one. Are we gonna have to share beds?" Tsukishima asks.

"Well the couch can pull out to a futon so we have 3 beds.. I mean I don't sleep much so I can just sleep on the floor if you want." Hinata suggests.

"No, don't do that Hinata! You'll be sore in the morning if you do that." Yamaguchi protests.

"I don't care what you guys do, I'm just gonna sleep on the other bed." Tsukishima says, laying down in a huff on the bed across from Kageyama.

"Tsukiiii Come on don't be rude!" Yamaguchi complains.

"Urusai Yamaguchi." Tsukishima mumbles.

"Gomen Tsukiii." Yamaguchi grumbles. "Hinata if you want to you can sleep on the futon with me." Yamaguchi offers. Hinata nods with a smile. Yamaguchi and Hinata head over to the couch to pull out the futon together while Tsukishima pulls his headphones over his ears. Tsukishima didn't know why, but when Hinata agreed to sleep in the same bed with Yamaguchi it pained his chest. Yamaguchi lays down on the futon and Hinata just sits up on the futon next to Yamaguchi. Tsukishima flicks off the lights but he too doesn't go to sleep. A few hours later, Tsukishima still can't shake the feeling, the pain he feels in his chest when he knows that Yamaguchi and Hinata are sleeping together. As well as the strangeness of what Hinata said earlier. 'Why does Hinata know what the fates are? Can you study it somewhere? And why is he so quiet today.. Is there something wrong with him?' Tsukishima thinks. He is snapped out of his thoughts by the bathroom light being turned on. Tsukishima hears the tap turn on and gets up to see who it was. Standing in the bathroom doorway, Tsukishima sees Hinata, splashing water on his face.

"Hey shrimp. What the hell are you doing?" Tsukishima whispers. Hinata looks up from splashing his face.

"Just running water over my face. Why?" Hinata asks while turning around. Tsukishima is shocked by what he sees. When Hinata turned around, he was still monitoring the universe, but this time his eyes stayed open as he was doing it and what Tsukishima saw. Was the whole universe, in Hinata's eyes. Tsukishima could see Venus and Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, everything Hinata is supposed to watch over and monitor. Tsukishima was speechless, He just stood there staring into Shōyō's eyes.

"What's the matter Tsukishima?.. Wait.. fuck!" Hinata shouts, snapping Tsukishima out of his trance. Hinata turns around again and splashes water on his face, rubbing his eyes, trying to stop seeing the universe while his eyes are open. Tsukishima's mind starts spinning. He can't figure out what's happening. Tsukishima starts thinking about everything that has led up to this moment. The warmth he feels around Hinata. His smile that carries light. His bubbly personality that reminds him of the sun. Every time Hinata spacs out or closes his eyes, why he always looks so focused when he does it. At that moment Tsukishima can only stutter out a few words.

"W-wait.. Yō.. My sun?" Hinata freezes at Tsukishima's words, hearing the nickname he hasn't heard in over 16 years.

"T-Tsuki..? My moon?" Hinata stutters back. Hinata opens his eyes again, not caring that he can still see the whole universe while his eyes are open. Tsukishima places a hand over his mouth, his eyes welling with tears. Hinata's eyes also fill with tears as they stand there in disbelief. They have finally found each other again, after 16 years living as humans, without knowing when they will find each other again. Tsukishima blinks a few times and in that moment, his eyes change and he can see the whole universe too. They stand there, staring into the universe through each other's eyes before Hinata finally moves, running and hugging Tsukishima as tight as possible. Tsukishima hugs him back tightly, falling to the floor with Hinata in his arms, feeling the warmth of Hinata's skin. They sob into each other's arms, just like every time they did when an eclipse would allow them to touch.

"It's really you?! Right. It's really you my darling? You're here, you're holding me?" Hinata questions, looking up into Tsukishima's eyes.

"Yes. Yes it's me my love, I'm right here, I'm holding you and I will never let you go again my love." Tsukishima says, cupping Hinata's face in his hands. Tsukishima holds onto Hinata's face, wiping his tears away with his thumbs and brushing the hair out of Hinata's face. Hinata smiles widely, placing his hand on Tsukishima's face. All of the comotion, from Tsukishima falling over and Hinata crying wake up Yamaguchi and Kageyama. Both sit up, seeing the bathroom light on and hearing Tsukishima and Hinata sobbing. Yamaguchi and Kageyama think something is wrong and spring up, going to the bathroom only to see a crying, but smiling Tsukishima and Hinata looking at each other, holding each other like they were going to be pulled apart at any moment. Tsukishima and Hinata's eyes go back to normal, as there are people in the room with them that can't know about Tsukishima being the moon, and Hinata being the sun.

"What.. What happened here?" Kageyama asked. Hinata sniffs, wiping his tears, pulling it out as long as possible to come up with a reason for this scene.

"I finally apologized to Shōyō.. and told him I loved him." Tsukishima mumbles. Hinata smiles and nods, hugging Tsukishima again.

"Wait wait wait wait.. You had a crush on Hinata?!" Yamaguchi asks, shocked.

"And he said yes?!" Kageyama adds. Tsukishima rolls his eyes, holding Hinata in his lap.

"Yes, what? Are you jealous, king?" Tsukishima pokes.

"Stop calling me king!" Kageyama yells.

"Baka! Kageyama baka! You're yelling too much! You're gonna wake everyone up!" Hinata exclaims. Just then, the four of them hear the door to their hotel room open and see a very sleepy Daichi and Ukai, standing in the hallway.

"Too late.." Ukai grumbles, rubbing his eyes before finally seeing the strange scene in front of him. Kageyama and Yamaguchi are standing over a crying Tsukishima and Hinata, who are holding each other tightly.

"What is going on?" Daichi demands. Hinata giggles a little bit which makes Tsukishima smile.

"Tsukishima smiling? Not smirking? That's new." Ukai says, looking at the four of them in disbelief.

"Well, what happened is that Tsuki fi-" Hinata starts before Kageyama cuts him off.

"The saltshaker told the dumb boke that he liked him and they started crying."

"Then what was all the banging we heard from below?" Daichi asks. Yamaguchi, Tsukishima, Kageyama and Hinata's rooms were on the second floor while Daichi, Suga, Coach Ukai and Takeda-sensei's were below them.

"I.. eheheh may have tackled Tsuki into a hug.. Whoops.." Hinata says, scratching the back of his head. Daichi and Ukai facepalm as Tsukishima holds onto Hinata's waist, laying his head on his shoulder and closing his eyes.

"It's like they've known each other for years or something the hell?" Kageyama whispers to Yamaguchi. Daich and Ukai shrug as they walk out of the hotel room, leaving Kageyama and Yamaguchi to deal with the 2 crying boys.
