"Umm, Sophia? You're not allowed to come with me." My mom said.
"What?" I asked, startled.
"It's for employees at the office only, not their families. I'm sorry honey, but you'll have to go live with your dad for the rest of the semester while I'm gone." I would have stormed out of the room, but since my leg was broken, I couldn't.
"I can't believe you're making me go to Dad's!" I said.
"It's the only place you have to go, Sophia. We're both leaving next week," my mom said.
