"Are you ready to go, Sophia?!" My mom yelled
"I guess.." I mumbled. We got into the car and started driving to South Carolina, and let me tell you, driving from Florida to South Carolina takes a LONG time. We stopped a couple times to eat and get gas, but that was pretty much it. I stuck my earbuds in my ears and listened to music the whole time. After endless hours of sitting in the car, I finally saw a 'Welcome To South Carolina' sign. Not that I was happy to be here, but I was ready to get out of the car. We drove a few more miles and stopped in front of a two-story house. "We're here," my mom said.
"Do I really have to go, Mom?" I asked.
"Yes, Sophia. Now get out and help me carry your bags inside," she said. I got out reluctantly and opened the trunk and started grabbing my bags.
